Samsung in a hurry to give the customer a lollipop treat made this very fast and beta stage released it coz every one wanted lookup and was complaining nexus got lollipop moto got lollipop why we not.. Nexus moto Andorra one are not features rich mobile they are stock Android so they face less bugs and easy to build there lollipop from aosp.. I caked Samsung and went to service Centre explained them all bugs they were not knowing about the bugs coz we don't shout on them we shout here in forums.. I would suggest go to customer service Centre or call Samsung Toll free number and explain them.. They told be binary update big fix version coming next week.. For a beta version lollipop is great except the chrome crash... But to taste Lollipop so early we had to face some bugs... Still in fan of Samsung giving lollipop to more than 23rd old phone which was launched with 4.2.2 ..saw so many updates

I AM FEELING FUNNY OVER ME. After long search I voted for s4 with competeters.
the best suggestion I can give to friends never S4.. never Samsung. .

Anyone tell how can go back to kit kat.
with in 35 days I lost intrestting in Samsung For ever...
I am moderate user unlike games.. heavy net.
still got more prob.. Never Samsung again for this heating SAR. Shocked after comparing SAR value with other mobiles had..
apps crash so stupid. U not comfortable in keeping wallpapers lag and heating issue and battery drain which should not expect low end mobile also. Being high end mobile I didn't expected frm Samsung. .the other brand mobiles with lolipop don't have this many prob. .

Writing review after 35 days usage..
got mobile frm amazon black deep.
got lolipop update in 7 days only..
starting I don't want to update due to default selection of updates I unable to stop from update being downloaded...
finally I updated to lolipop
Mobile looks good in display performance and all before lolipop update Expect heating issue...
1 Feeling very bad for bing thus mobile
I am normal user of mobile..
heating issue is very heavy.after batter downs 30% and able to pick call is difficult. Heating is very heavy on net use and try to pick call while net is on..
2 Other problem apps crash specially chrome also.. U r home wallpaper will crash regularly.
3 The lag in opening apps and galary also..
Battery drains fast if net use moderate also.. one time charge enough for 1 day is net use is low..
I am charging twice for day with moderate use..
Suggestion is if u had already don't go with lolipop update..
I switched off to reduce heating.. still it is heavy always having calls through head set..

[deleted post]Complained against you in Samsung service centre that you spreading rumors about Samsung Galaxy s4 and they said they will take legal action against you.. Hope than your black mist will get more ppi

Worst phone for a flagship device and even worse is the customer service, is there anyone in Samsung that cares???
Bought this device around the same time last year and since the very first week having issues with the device.
First it was over heating nd battery back-up, but looking at the reviews decided to live with it as the rest seemed to work fine. This adjusting attitude is what costs us the most as Indians.
This device is not cheap (30k when I bought it and even at current rate its not cheap either) and what's the least do you expect is a decent customer service.
In the last 10 months, I have visited the service center 8 times. Replaced the software 7 times and changed the hardware once. Issues that I have faced:
Loss of data: This phone would automatically delete all data on the device and the sd card several times and this meant I lost my important official and personal data 4 times in last 10 months. Even hardware change couldt correct it.
Overheating and Battery back-up: Battery wont last for more than 5 hrs of very normal use and required charging 2-3 times in a day.
Last month Wifi stopped working completely, just wouldnt switch on.
Now this phone is like a paper weight, useless... and all Samsung service center, customer care and escalation teams can do is ask me to repair it ONCE AGAIN!!!!!!
No response from customer care and escalation emails, only standard copy paste templates. Is that what you call customer service
I mean is this really your Flagship Device???? and is this all Samsung Brand is about???

U cn find this issue in every samsung smartphone..but as far as i used lollipop...heating is less from 4.4.2..i hv played asphalt8 for 20 minutes nd the phn remains at room temp.

Turn off all super features and give rom some time to settle the heating will go also.. It has turbo charger it charges phone super fast.. Loving Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 deep black edition

Hey all..i bought s4 deep black edition just a month ago for just 18k.Today updated my phone with lollipop update..till now getting loved with it..its awsome..just go for it..give a new look to ur phone..:)
