I got my new S4 after the price Drop. It is made in India (noida) with manufactures date as Dec14. Samsung reduced price of a 2 year old model to clear out the parts inventories and to pass the benefit of no-import tax. Its also a strategy to keep users away from MI4 and OPO. I dont think Note 3 or S5 will see any drastic price cut as this. May be a little.

Been the best smartphone i used to date. sadly i lost it, it was stolen. its powerfull, very much customizable after rooting as backed by strong developer community, have so many custom ROMS. one must buy this in india when considering sony c3 or htc 816,820 as well. the cam,display,performance everything is so good. highly recommended

Iam using the same phone with official lollipop update. It beautifull and bug free. The heating problem is caused by some apps like candy crush saga,highway rider or some useless background apps. These apos uses RAM heavily. If you terminate applications with apps manager in settings,heating problems should solve.

s4lover, 22 Feb 2015hello everyone, using Lollipop in my s4 from 10 days . its ... moreFirst download official lollipop firmware from sammobile.com and extract it with winrar and also download odin software. Now open the odin software and put the phone in download mode (switch off the mobile and press and hold volume down button, menu button and power button simultaneously). After that press the volume up button to go in download mode. Connect the phone to PC with USB cable and after that in odin press the AP button and select the firmware which u had downloaded and extracted. It's asks Pls wait. After load the file press the start button and then wait for 5 to 10 minutes. That's it ur fire installed with lollipop. Note that when u doing this don't disconnect the mobile from PC or don't power off the PC.

Hey what a great option.........of course you should go with s4 because there is no hope of 5.0 update for 820...from htc and if you buy s4 you will get option to choose from number of roms...to optimize your phone......go for it.

After a system software update to a latest version, please do a "Wipe Cache Partition" so that to fully clear away the remaining old version program in the phone cache memory internal storage. After that your phone will be 100% run smoothly. If still some minor bug then wait for next minor update. Google "Wipe Cache Partition" for further instructions.

hello everyone, using Lollipop in my s4 from 10 days . its a very good update . now my s4 working very smooth, so don't think anything just update your s4 with L5.0 ,& there are some bugs too so those who updated please have some patience & wait for a bug free update . don't cry or feel sad lol :P

I updated my galaxy i9500 black edition. All i wanna say its (lollipop5.0.1)rellay much better than KitKat.
Who haven't got the updates yet on their black edition plz go service centre & they will update your baseband version then u will get the update of lolipop.
