S4 is over D820 in cases of screen clarity, size(comfort in pocket), battery, features(AirView, Air gestures etc). Now prize is also less in amazon.

I have got the lollipop update in my galaxy s4. You should check for update in settings-About device-Software update.
And make sure you have a stable Internet connectivity while updating.

download one from sammobile (for example the one of germany) and install it using odin

Use for one year 3 months. Phone auto turn off by itself. Did a factory reset to no avail. The problem remains. Went to Samsung service centre (Singapore). The customer service officer claims this is a common problem due to wear and tear. And for it to have this problem only after one year three months is already very good. That's the quality of Samsung S4 for you.
Repair solution is to change motherboard for S$348, which is like the price of a new phone.
Samsung S4. Build to last just beyond the one year warranty period.

s4 is best with best display,camera,powerful processor,2gb ram with lolipop 5.0.1 and it has 2600 mah battery for 5 inch display Battery drop a bit faster than kitkat in lolipop LED INDICATOR NOT WORKING AFTER UPDATE done wipe reset too i think needs improvement to fix bug.rest i do not receive any heating effect like other people are saying .you can run with medium usage all day
