s4 is best with best display,camera,powerful processor,2gb ram with lolipop 5.0.1 and it has 2600 mah battery for 5 inch display Battery drop a bit faster than kitkat in lolipop LED INDICATOR NOT WORKING AFTER UPDATE done wipe reset too i think needs improvement to fix bug.rest i do not receive any heating effect like other people are saying .you can run with medium usage all day

Define yourself ; don't let your phone define you! Everyone deserves to be happy, even low income earners, Samsung cutting the prices of some of their flagship phones is quite a welcome idea. Those couldn't afford it back then, can now. It's quite awful the comments folks in India are dropping because of the good deed by Samsung.
You folks complain just about anything, you were dying to get the taste of lollipop, now your phones are overheating and causing the lollipop to melt in your mouths and you're discouraging others from installing it! Tired of your endless ranting... just speaking my mind! Peace out!

I installed Lollipop and found a great deal of cosmetic changes in th UI. But it has ruined the battery life, Eats more RAM, Lags, Appcrashes and Extreme heat compared to the earlier version. A complete unstable upgrade. Time to sell my phone.

Here is my review of Lollipop after two days of use -
1. Battery life is Worse than KitKat (hope it improves)
2. Overall phone has become faster but there is homescreen and app drawer redrawing when many apps are opened up. This issue was not in KitKat.
3. Internal Memory has decreased by 1 GB
4. Screen Blinking issue is still present but intensity has decreased.
5. Expected Theme option in Lollipop like in new samsung phones but it's not in s4. Disappointed !
If you ask me, then Do Not Update now.
Maybe 1-2 more stability, bug fixing updates will improve the situation.

Yesterday i received the Lollipop OTA update of about 993.1 Mb. It gave the galaxy s4 i9500 a new feature apart from regular lollipop interface.
It is nothing but an update to use the phone as PORTABLE BATTERY OPERATED INDUCTION STOVE. yes, i mean it. Try making a half-boil to begin with, followed by your favourite recipes.
HOW TO OPERATE?
This feature is completely automatised. Inspired by BMW i8 Hybrid concept car which charges its batteries from the running petrol engine, the galaxy s4 heats up instantaneously from the running apps. Thanks to the masterminds of Samsung.
- use whatsapp for 15 mins, it heats up.
- browse internet for 10 mins, it heats up.
- play a big game like asphalt 8 or NOVA for 5 mins, it heats up.
- Lastly, charge the phone and it heats up.
I've been using galaxy s4 since june 2013 (2 years approx) and never has my phone heated so instantly.
So, in the upcoming summer season you don't want to burn your pockets. Believe me!
Forgot to mention, the update completely changed the look and it is marvelous.

Dear samsung..i hve jst updated my s4 to lollipop.after updating the phone keep on crashing and battery drain is very fast.samsung pls fix the issue....

Im using Gsm only mode but i can't see the H symbol but When i change wcdma only mode i can't make a call send sms also i can't use internet facility.its shows Not registered on network... Please help me to solve this problem friends

This all price drop crap is nothing more than day dream. Just go to amazon.in and they have mentioned Rs. 17999 but "not in stock". Fact is s4 is not available in India. So don't worry s4 users , you still using one of the best and compact mobile by today norms.

I just updated my Android version to 5.0.1 from 4.4.2 and recently I am experiencing bugs which is the most annoying one. Lots of times happened that the apps, mainly all, crashes or FC while using it. So annoying. I already tried restarting the phone many times but the bug persists and looks like it's getting worst. Any thoughts how to fix this? Thanks
