Whenever I try to update my S4 via kies it says"Your device firmware version is not supported to update via kies". I can't update via Kies or OTA and my ph is stuck in android 4.3. What is this problem? What am I do? Pls anyone help!

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2014This is not the 4.4.3 update, just a small stability update... morekies does not download 1.8GB "entire download" -- kies checks for available updates -if available -offers the choice of updating == only update download which is NEVER ENTIRE "1.8GB" U DONT KNOW . recently 442>upgrade to 443==77MB+additional bugs fix 17MB ota or kies -last week /this week ..

Go to the service centre and ask them to replace the display and the hall sensor. Mine had the same problem. This problem is because of the s view flip cover.

i was updating my firmware and suddenly phone got shutdown and it is stuck on the beginning where the name of samsung galaxy S4 appears with model number i.e GT-I9500.
Its stuck at this point..tel me what to do

I have noticed that the GPS now named as location in notification panel. Moreover earlier making GPS off in notification panel does not automatically put location off. But now you can do straight from notification panel. Some caution to use any other msg apps other than stock android app.

yes one of the user said Kies always download full firmware...
tats the reason I got 1.8 GB file download.
I could see some improvement in battery backup.

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2014what u say 1.7 GB via kies update ! thats 1700mb - not cor... moreThis is not the 4.4.3 update, just a small stability update, Kies always downloads the whole firmware, so all updates via Kies would be nearly 1.8 GB of size.

before 2 day i saw 128 mb update but that time i dont update my phone and after some time when i m try to update, showing msg update fasility not avaleble and maximum roll out of update was excess

Anonymous, 03 Jul 2014Around 1.7 GB via KIES ! battery draining problem solved :)what u say 1.7 GB via kies update ! thats 1700mb - not correct .. from 442 to 443 is no more than 77mb ota +anather 17mb bugs fix additional ota -443 . 1.7GB is not possible ever - FREE RAM never 1.7gb ..please check and clarify ..battery drainage issue has zero link with 443 update .. 443 clealy says -improves performance and bugs fix -before u hit down load button .
