I have this phone, it is a bad phone. It is always using 1 of 2 gigs of ram and all the invisible system apps slow it down. It constantly freezes and takes 5 seconds for the screen to turn on. Do not get this phone. Yes, I have uninstalled all apps I can it still runs like dirt.

I wish samsung can recreate the magic of S4 ...these were the times when samsung phones would never slip out of the hand without a cover ...

Still using this phone today and still works great for basic use of talk, text, web browsing and GPS device. Also still get 2 days use before charging but OS can not be upgraded so I am forced so start looking for a new phone.
Some apps like banking and a few others no longer work with Android 5.0.1 but otherwise the phone still works great. Many drops over the years and plastic is chipped or cracked but screen is still perfect!

i have this phone now(dec.16,2021).i use it for fb,youtube,soundtrip,google,camera,this phone is a beast.441 ppi the screen is fookin ridiculous.i have oppo a94 ,vivo y91,samsung a12 but the galaxy s4 is still my favorite

Possibly the first Samsung phone I ever owned (might have had the S3 before). At the time I felt like a tech wizard for joining the Samsung community :') I recently set up a spare new S4 and it shocked me how basic it is in comparison to the Samsungs I've used since (my most recent being the J3). It's a cute retro item now but at the time it was so exciting and modern to me.

Used this phone for two years and display was broken before 4 years. Since that still keeping for display replacement. Thing is bought a new display before few hours ago. Looking for startup screen after 4 years. :)....

In 2014 had one, had it for couple years, i changed battery two times and always playing with Custom Rom, at the end had to change phone because battery was bad and cpu was old and slow, but beside that the phone was extremely good, and heaven for Custom Roms. Then i bought Huawei P20 regular not PRO and still using it, again excellent phone.
