Why does the battery of my S4 bulged and it keeps on turning off. There is also difficulty in turning it on. Looking forward for any of your comment and enlightenment.

but plz shubham how can i do a format via kies?you can't do a format, just update firmware via kies(it's super easy). Just plug in your phone to pc, open kies and it will automatically guide you.
Then do a factory reset in the phone itself.

After update 4.3 my wifi is trouble. Can not connect with tplink router. It said : can not connect because its connection is slow. Can anyone Help me. Thanks

Why am I not getting the third update? The last update I got was on 8th November which was of size around 1.5 GB when updated through Kies. This also changed my baseband version to MJ9.

After the third update i.e. 23MB after 4.3 , the phone is now blazing fast, almost all the lags are gone and the time taken to open the gallery and camera is also half now. Appreciable increase in battery life as well.

Ok guys, after updating to 4.3(precisely 3rd update of 4.3) i get screen on time of 4h 33m. I had 3g on all the time,du battery saver and du memory booster. tom i will test it without these 2 apps. On 4.2.2 i was unable to cross 3h 33m with 3g on all the time.

Traded the phone for SXZ1. That is why i am concerned about Samsung signal reception nowadays. Making me think its not about certain model of Samsung phones having issues, but they have to improvise their signal reception as a whole. Thank you and bye bye..

AnonD-8044, 11 Nov 2013Here in UK if you cannot get a signal or its really bad you... moreWell, at my place we dont have the so called one to one replacement or even refund. You get what you bought. I have called service centre and they told me to reset the phone which i did, and to no avail. They asked me to send the phone for inspection which i didn't want to because i knew it will take so long for them to give it back to me. Mind you, i owned galaxy mega 6.3 and the signal is just as bad. That is why i think Samsung need to improve their signal reception. Thats all. Thanks for replying. Bye..

It struggled to maintain cellular signal strength in my house (which is situated right next to a small hill). I also have a Nokia phone at home which shows at least 2 to 3 signal bars all the time and it does work as well (calling, sms). Here I would tell u something. Just default reset your S4 and then when it shows no signal strength, never ever register on mobile network. I did register the phone and then it started to have no signal at all. The phone doesn't need to be registered. Now I have Note 3 and obviously not registered the phone on the network and it is working fine. Has better signal strength than S4. Don't know why new Samsung devices have this signal problem. They require strong signal strength. Strange....really.

chedsabahmalaysia, 11 Nov 2013The way i see it, you are really into samsung, don't you.??... moreHere in UK if you cannot get a signal or its really bad you can return handset and get refund or cancel your contract,within a reasonable time say when you notice it, ie pretty quickly.
How long you had your handset because you should be able to do same thing..Thats all I can say there are lots of places near me with no signal and nowt I can do..All handsets have different strengths yours is no good then so return is best option.You must have bought it and realised its no good reception quickly so the phone is no good at its purpose so you can return it for refund "or" swap to phone that is good in your area,.
I would rather Nokia made Android their reception brilliant.
