Aravind, 19 Sep 2013Hi Shubham, thank you for the detailed explanations on the ... moreI don't know about it exactly but most probably we won't get it as I read somewhere that there is a chip level problem in exynos 5410 which makes the chip to only execute cluster migration and hence core migration is not possible. But that news might not be true or Samsung may have locked it.

hence nothing can be said but if there is no defect, 5410 will be upgraded via a kernel update. so don't expect to get that but if we get it, it'll be great.

Hi Shubham, thank you for the detailed explanations on the features of S4. Hats off. However, I am curious to know whether the Exynos 5410 in S4 can be really upgraded to true Octa Core via Kernal update & does there a possibility that Samsung would roll that update to S4?

also I want to illustrate some major disadvantages of htc one which I forgot to tell you and the reasons I didn't buy it:

                          25 gb storage only

                          non removable battery

extremely hard to repair(ifixit gave it the lowest score in repairability 1/10 against 9/10 in s4). hence you will have to keep it in a case

aluminium is easy to scratch and dent

more heat than s4. 57.7 degrees when s4 was at 49.9 in same conditions

takes 4 hrs to charge against 1 hr 50 min of s4

ddr2 ram in htc one against ddr3 in s4

blinkfeed can't be removed and eats a lot of data and battery

Tech Guru, 19 Sep 2013I agree with Shubham. But on one point I have a diffrent th... moreNo I wasn't talking about the easy ui but the better looking and fast ui of htc one. Also htc one is better looking and better built with great speakers. For a newbie, these features matter more than the processor, contrast and camera and 32gb is sufficient for him.

actually the normal ui if s4 is also more user friendly than htc one but really I feel that htc is a better choice for him.

Actually a newcomer should buy a good midrange phone for a good start and then go to high end to take full advantage of hardware. however this is my opinion.

SJ, 19 Sep 2013Hi,I just have a query,if I download third party camera fro... moreit won't affect the lens but will affect the photo quality captured in that app. lens is a mechanical thing. a software can't do anything to it. But why would anyone need a 3rd party client if the regular one is great.

see, the stock app is optimised for s4 sensor and hence takes pics accordingly. The other one will not be able to take better pics. I have a nexus camera app for taking photo spheres. It's just used for that as in normal photos it takes about 500kb photos with very high compression in comparison to the s4 camera which takes 5 to 7 mb photos with great quality.

All in all you can use 3rd party app but it will take worse pics. so you can choose which one to pick for a scenario.

FF, 19 Sep 2013shubham your given analysis is perfect and near to correct ... moreYes its there for almost the first week but after you use it for one week the phone is really cool. let me give you stats. after some heavy usage like browsing for 3 to 4 hrs my phone only got 43 degrees in cpu. 43 degree for a cpu is very good as the surface temp is almost 35 to 36 degrees.

but s4 feels hotter in one area after very heavy use like benchmarking and all which are rare. This happens as s4 releases heat much efficiently through body to get cooled soon. it cools really fast. I have read that upto 100 degrees are fine for a cpu. so don't worry about heat and lag.

yes it lags. I also wrote that htc one is smoother but you can make s4 super fast and close to htc one by changing animation and transitions to .5x in developer options in settings.

I don't have any probs as this speed is sufficient for me and a .25 sec lag does not affect my user experience.

Also the lag is in only system apps. In 3rd party apps, s4 us much faster as it has more power. don't worry about these things as they are over hyped by some trolls who just hate s4 for no reason.

Have a nice day. feel free to ask any question. I'll answer it to the best of my knowledge.
