kissy, 27 Oct 2015Yes it isOh, but having a newer version is better, maybe upgrading to Lollipop may have a conflict to the system so it cause heating the device and make the battery drain fast.

Dear Dave , have you tried closing running apps from application manager???? See if it works...and just fter closing running apps from application manager go to task manager and clear the ram....i hope it will work fine and will make ur phone cool....and disable all samsung bloatware...reply after trying

i have galaxy s4 balck edition exynos varient .. i have been facing issues like music stutter UI stutter and screen flickering in 2g mode while using internet ... is it just me facing these problems or other black editions have it too... i didnt find any of these problems on my brother black mist s4..
