touch keys not working at all after update
any solutions ?

Hi... I am currently facing an issue with my S4. I have been using this phone for past 1 year. Recently my S4 started giving me problems... As soon as I turned my cell phone on... My cell phone's screen started flickering with yellowish shade at the lower part of screen. I restarted the phone, tried rebooting. Tried power button +volume button + main menu button at the same time but nothing worked so far. Now the issue has gotten worse. my cell phone screen's display is all black... I can hear my cell opening apps up but screen wont show anything. After about 3 minutes or so when the phone is a little warm then I lock my cell and unlock again and sometimes then my phone starts working and sometimes it doesn't. Does anyone know how to fix as my cell has never been dropped and is in A1 condition.
Eagerly awaiting some kind of fix so that I can resolve my issue. Thanks

I got the Samsung Galaxy S4 only 3 weeks ago and it had poor speakers and no sound notifications on messages. I took it to the Samsung repair center and they said the motherboard was defective but said I broke it by trying to access the admin functions which is complete nonsense, and therefore I voided the warranty!! I never touched it, no more Samsung products for me ever again, watch out they sell defective merchandise then pass the blame on you!!

I would sometimes feel my s4 getting quite hot whilst in my pocket and then draining the battery very quickly. It may need a new battery or it may be the cpu. Try backing up your phone and then doing a full reset. Also you get into the practice of turning off and re-starting your phone at least once per week. By the way I have just updated to a new s6.

Never... moreI am talking about like Battery drainage with light use and while in standby...i know normally in all phones battery goes 3 to 4 percent maximum when kept in ideal and with light uses like going through gallery and all...and 1 percent per 4 to 5 minutes in internet browsing....but if this s4 goes like 10 percent decrease in 5 minutes usage its kindda problem for me......and i know every phones heats while using even my note 3 heats but its never too much like hell that i am unable to touch it and when i close other background appa and then browse it never heats....i am talking about s4 getting heated when kept in standby and when making calls....its ol about overheating...not saying about warming or little heat...such that i cant keep my phone near my ears.....thanks for earlier reply...hope to hear from you soon...

AnonD-453187, 20 Oct 2015Do s4 still have severe over heating and battery drain iissues???Battery drain and overheating under what conditions? Never had a problem with either except hiking in 100 degree temps with a rubber case. And get an extra battery or two, then battery usage is never an issue.
On a separate note, this phone will support a 128 GB card. Mine is working without any other effort than transferring all my data and apps to the new card and inserting it.

I love my Samsung S4. Ive been a user for 2 years and its still kicking. It never hanged. Nice camera, audible sound, a lot of nice features and its like you have a handsized laptop. As a user, you just have to know what you want on your smart phone and enjoy using it.

As I observed sometime to my phone s4 using android 5.0 when the battery is in 25% or 20% the phone is automatically shutting down. Is it normal in android 5.0?
