I have purchased this phone on the 1st may on M&P warranty. The international octa-core version. Before i get to the negatives, the phone is brilliant. The camera is superb and its features are quite a treat for someone who takes pictures frequently. The touch responsiveness is snappy and there is little to no lags. The new air features are no doubt astounding, but i have noticed that most of them dont work naturally. meaning, it is much easier to actually use your finger to scroll then to use smart scroll, and other such things like air call-accept, theyre not day to day features and would only come in handy on occasion or when showing off.
I have no regrets except not waiting for the price to go down before buying it.
Now to the things ive noticed. The battery is 2600 mAh, thats 500 mAh larger then the s3's, but the battery life seems to be the same, which is probably because of the giant 5inch super amoled screen and the 8 cores. And i last about 24 hrs with all of the cool new features OFF and using the phone moderately. A heavy phone user will indeed feel the battery isnt enough. But for the power the device packs, the battery life is good. Not great.
Climate these days where i live is hot. And my phone feeling hot may be because of that, but i have noticed it getting rather warm during games and charging. ive seen many people online saying the international version gets too hot. Especially when charging, playing Heavy games and even surfing the web. It only gets warm, not enough to make you feel uncomfortable.
This is not a fresh new experience of a new smartphone. The s4 is basically a upgraded s3, with similar looks and feel. It is better than the s3 obviously, but not by a distance that we all expected.
All in all, im satisfied with the phone, The flip covers are horrible btw. Like all phones it has its cons, its all a matter of preference. Im a moderate user and this phone suits me. But on a boring day if i might decide to spend several hours playing games. I may need a spare battery just in case.

And by the way your comment just suggests that you're working for Samsung. iPhone has more apps than Android and all the games work fine on iPhone as compared to Android devices. So, if you're into portable gaming, iPhone is the best choice.

I noticed some lags when opening dialer, phonebook or camera application. Try to access the camera from the lockscreen and tell me if you're Samsung Galaxy S4 restarted.. Mine does which i fixed by going to developer mode and selecting background processes limit to 4 at a time. The major problem of this phone is heating up and low memory, as well as some lags and restarts for me. I changed the set like three times a month. Service center officials said you've to stick with it. Samsung will fix this issues via a software update or else you can get a NOTE II or SIII and get the extra money back. Also they said use S4 until Samsung launches the NOTE III, they will take S4 and give me NOTE III for some extra money. What must i do? Suggestions are welcomed.

Hello everyone, i registered on GSM Arena today especially to post about my horrible experience with 3 sets of the new Galaxy S4 this week.
I used to own Galaxy Note II until last week when i saw the new GS4 showcased in a Samsung store nearby my house.
I loved the screen and size of the device and decided to switch for a change.
I bought my GS4, went home, unboxed the phone to find the following:
first of all the phone was made in Vietnam which was a bit shocking for $700.
I inserted the sim card and made a successful setup of my phone, i started to test the phone by calling a friend, the sound quality was rubbish, the earpiece produced a horrible crackling noise.
I went to the store on the next day and showed them the noise, they switched the phone and I went back home, the same thing happend once again horrible crackling noise from the earpiece of the second phone.
Not only that but the phone gets extremely hot when you surf the internet or when you go around the menus for just 10 mins, to the extent that you can not put it on your ear, and when you charge the phone it gets iron hot.
I went to the store again and asked to change the phone for the third time and showed them all the defects and they gave me a third phone, I took it home again to find the same defects on the third handset so i took the phone to store again and got my self a new Galaxy note II.
Despite the new Exynos 5 Octa processor, the Galaxy Note II is much better in every aspect, the call sound in superb, the phone is far more responsive than the GS4, the built quality is spectacular, and on top that the phone is made in Korea.
So please don't be fooled by the propaganda made around the GS4 and DO NOT BUY IT until Samsung does something about these issues!!!!!!
Galaxy Note II is the best phone ever made by Samsung!!!!!!

I contact (Crescent Moon Games) the developer of the game and mention them that the game isn't compatible with my Padfone infinity. So they email me a like to dowload the game, and the game did work on my smartphone even if I docked my phone into Padfone station. And then I download the game from the same link on my LG Optimus G Pro E980 and it worked on it as well. But when I download the game on my cousins Galaxy S4 It keeps saying (unable to open the Application: force close)

I've had three iPhones which are good but to me the screen is too small. The 5" screen and the faster performance and higher technical advance makes it a much nicer phone to me. Although the weight is similar it feels so much lighter due to the size balance. Pity as the apple ecosystem has had to be broken with my ipad mini and mac air and Apple TV etc, but this phone is light years ahead technologically and the screen is amazing as well as being much more useable size. To me the phone is better made physically, easier to hold, less easy to drop, gorilla glass3. It's nice being able to remove apps you don't want too. I love it and hope apple catch up.

rana, 31 May 2013I like both samsung s4 and sony xperia z...but which 0ne is... morerana men wen inti? sony xperia z has washed out screen colors and awful viewing angles and its screen is a finger print magnet and uses an older proccesor which is slower and its UI lags but on the other side is has a sexy look and is water resistant and dust proof.. s4 doesnt have that sexy look or premium build but it has the fastest proccesor available now so its very fast and the screen is just superb but not so good in daylight and has better battery..i went for the S4 because i had a sony and it used to lag alot and it was very sloww and awful battery life! i think samsung is more reliable and it keeps updating its firmware and os to keep u up to date! so if u want a sexy look and fast phone but not that much of a screen go for xz. but if u want awsome performance and screen colors and better battery life go for s4! i own a s4 and im completely satisfied although there are some cons..

iOS => restricted like hell, boring UI, less feature, performance skyrocketing.
Android => freedom is the key (can do OC, GPU Oc, enable USB on the go on some device that from the stock ROM cant perform it, etc ,etc. I love this OS coz of that), so many UI customization, Superb & complete feature, performance is good even great but not as smooth as iOS (i admitted it)
im just straighten the fact.

Hai i bought 2 s4 phone 3g and lte,3g is better than lte
1.lte overheat
2.drain too much battery
3.lag
but 3g is non this thing happen
what wrong any one?
