Instead of that dangling wires from your phone as an antenna to your phone's radio, bluetooth headset with built-in radio gives you freedom to move especially when travelling at the same time you can answer the phone for incoming calls.
I hope that solves your radio problem.

Just buy a 2G ph... moreI need a phone and a transistor radio, so why would I buy a phone that does not have that transistor FM-radio included? I do not want to have both a phone and a transitsor radio in my pants pocket, with two different headphones, one for the radio and another for my answering phonecalls!
I need 3G-connection and have unlimited 3G-data, but I travel a lot and there is not 3G-connection available everywhere and streaming radio over Internet drains the battery even when I have perfect 3G-connection!

Since as you said 3G connection is not always available so a 3G phone will not always be useful, why waste your money for a 3G phone? Use a basic phone.

R... moreI have used many phones, including S3, in the rain with no problem att all, and that is all the "waterproofing" I need! Nanocoating would be a far better way to waterproof a phone than using annoying breakable flaps that needs to be removed everytime headphones are plugged in and needs be open in the pants pocket while listening to music...!

Sony do not have good cameras on their "flagships", only good specs on paper but very bad performance in real life!

Dirk, 06 Apr 2013You don't need a radio in your phone if you get the TuneInP... moreTuneIn and all apps that stream Internet radio have problems with gigantic batterydrain, and you need almost perfect 3G-connection, while normal FM-radio drain almost no battery at all and can be used for listening during more than a whole day and never have problems even where there is no 3G-connection or data-connection at all!

The XZ also wipe the floor with the SGS4 in screen department i talking about XZ with the Sharp panel.
Camera is XZ also better than Sammy, it's also proven.
The only thing what Samsung shine SGS4 is the CPU department nothing more.

Believe me SG S3 is more powerful and better design than iPhone 5/Lumia 900 etc. Better grip feel better and light weight. And I feel SG S4 looks more better than SG S3

I am not eligible for upgrade till this coming November, may wait till the S 5. I have my updated S2, Still a good phone and yes I wish they had a more rugged phone. Water proof, would be real nice. Can you get the waterproof case. And no warranty for water damage.

I can listen to my favorite FM stations from my own country using TuneIn radio app even I am far away.
