S4 beats XZ in many ways apart from IP57... moreXperia Z is not at all Sluggish, Xperia Z is as fast the as the S4, but obviously S4 is faster, realistically there are absolutely no applications which would utilize its potential. Comparatively the Z is as fast the S4, if you put a number the S4, is 20% faster than the Z, only in performance.

How silly is that!How is that a useless feature, My friends have the Xperia Z, and HTC one, and it just is soo satisfying to see its water resistant, after water dripped from our drinks from the cold refrigerated bottles, the Xperia Z survived, while the HTC one lost one of its speakers.
I really adore this feature, and I think it is highly capable of doing so claiming its water resistant capabilities.

akshit, 07 Apr 2013same crapy boring desing...even samsung all phones are of s... moreDony try buying xperia z, i have just bought and sold it in 4 days because of these disadvantages
1. phone is not at all comfortable to hold.
2. it has sharp edges
3. viewing angles are so bad (while playing subway surfers i have just moved the phone upwards just by 10 degrees, the colors just washed out)
4. this is not water proof, this is water resistance
5. this phone is finger print magnet
Very bad experience with this phone, never try to buy xperia z.
I think samsung galaxy s4 wont dissappoint like this

I would agree with you before Jelly Bean, but ever since Jelly Bean, android is much smoother. I flashed Jelly Bean on the original Galaxy S and I was shock how smooth the Galaxy S is after I flashed Jelly Bean. I though the phone was slow and laggy because of it's hardware, but it was really Ginger Bread. Since this phone comes with Jelly Bean, I would not say android is a laggy os.

Are we actually comparing an S4 to an Experia product. And Experia Product is destined for failure and just crashing so to even try and say a Sony Android is comparable to even let's say an Optimus G is just funny in my books.

same crapy boring desing...even samsung all phones are of same desing...even the hardware is better but a phone which does not has good look how can ve say that it good from inside...from camera compare...galaxy s4 vs xperia z with pro capture from play store and see the difference in camera quality xperia z camera even better than compact 15mp professional camera ...try this and you would not be in a condition to buy... s4

Go to antutu and check s4 benchmark are 10% higher than Xperiaz. Android os is laggy os if u want to play high end hd games, heavy app use and heavy multitasking of ur phone then ur processor gpu must be strong

Even this phone haven't released to the market yet but proving so popular. Here what I did on Ebay: I written down sony xperia Z and search= result with 10 pages in 200 items view per page. I tried this with Samsung S4 and search= result with 11 pages in 200 items view per page! I did try that with Samsung s3 = result 315 pages with 200 item view per page!!!! who is the daddy?

Believe me SG S3 is more powerful and better design than iPhone 5/Lumia 900 etc. Better grip feel better and light weight. And I feel SG S4 looks more better than SG S3

And if the Optimus has better su... moreI work in a Vodafone Store and i saw many S3s and few 4X HD phones and what i noticed that the 4X HD actually has better visability under direct sunlight than the S3 .So it's obviously it's not something wrong with all of the S3 that i saw .By the way All the S3s were made either in Korea by Samsung Or Made in Vietnam by Samsung and the Model no# I9300 .
