When you see a menu release buttons, then press volume up.
Then navigate with volume keys slecet clear Dalvik cache and confirm action with power button (short push). Then select restart. It should be work with batterry. It worked for me.

When you first get it out of the box, it is the phone you always wanted. Unfortunately, as with all Samsung products (and they aren't alone with this), this doesn't last long.
First they 'upgraded' it to Lollipop - this phone just doesn't have the grunt to run Lollipop and do any thing that the user wants.
The phone was replaced with a KitKat build and all was well as most updates were turned off, but there are updates and changes that it seems can't be turned off, so the gradual updating of things eventually - after just 11 months - has rendered the phone to be little faster than the ancient one it replaced.
The only way to return the phone to a good working state is to factory reset it - which then means starting again with all your settings and tweaks.

s4 user, 24 Nov 2015simply clean and have more space in your system. ithink you... moreSuperb phone...have been using for more than 1year now...running smooth ..specially after lollipop update 5.0.1 ...its fast ...good camera...application loading is smooth...even can compete mid range mobiles being prodeced these...only prob is a bit short battery time...

My Samsung Galaxy S4 does not save wifi password, i had purchased it as 2nd hand phone, on google i have found that 4.4.2 update have that bug, will 5.0.1 update solve this?

My S4 had heating problems. Suddenly the Wifi went dead. I purchased a new battery but is still not working :(
I'm disappointed. I will get a new phone from another company.

Great phone but after I update to lolipopi cannot hear when I am calling someone.
When i use other way to call like Viber,Skype, Messenger it is working but when i directly call I cannot her other people. I restart phone but no result
