Joe, 03 Apr 2017I have a S4 i9505...my battery doesnt even last an hour. It... moreit's probably the battery. How long do you have the phone? Maybe you can send it back to the shop, and then they maybe can fix it. if you still have a warranty than u can send it back if the shop can't repair it. But i think it's the battery.

I have a S4 i9505...my battery doesnt even last an hour. It gets warm even if its not on charge, while in my pocket it heats up.
Could it be the battery or the phone itself?

C... moreyeah agree to that, got mine 5years ago, and still have till now. not every phone has that infrafred port, it's very useful to me wherever I go. whenever i compare my phone to the new phones today, it didn't get behind. depends on how you use it, but for me. if s4 will last forever so be it. my best phone ever.

!!!!!!!!!! to all with SIM PROBLEM
It's not about your sim card or sim slot. It's about pins that connects sim/microsd slot to mainboard. Samsung failed with these (i think on purpose - how its possible that accidently it's breaks after 3 years since premiere).
Solution:
demont plastic back cover
put something (small square of plastic card) on pins connector
mount plastic back together watching thing you put do not flip from place.
It should solve your problem.

One of the best phones ever. And an extinct on its class. Comes with a bunch of sensors that any of the new phones lacks. Now with this new trend of taking away every sensor, even the 3.5mm jack, the S4 still at the top of the notch.
If you got one, take specially care of him, because they dont build phones like this anymore.
