How can i enable background player feature in this mobile?????

i have bought J 700 8 months ago. though it is a cheap mobile including some more basic facilities but it does not work good now. its main problem is auto switch off. when i i receive call or send call it gets switch off and switch on ifself. i have a warenty bill too for 365 days. but service centre has not prodive satisfactory service min memory card doesn't get zoom.

I bought the J700i a couple of months ago, after having contract all-singing-all-dancing phones. I wanted a basic phone and thats what I have. There are only 3 themes, and sending texts can be a pain, because you have to add the person before sending, and if you slide the phone shut before it is sent, it will go straight to draughts. Earphones are awful, too short and I had to buy foam covers for a comfortable fit. On the plus side, it works beautifully with my Jabra headset. I just turn the headset on and it automatically connects the phone. Battery is brilliant. On average battery lasts nearly two weeks, as long as I dont play games on it. There is good radio reception and multiple alarms, so you can set for different times of the week without deleting the last alarm
If you want a basic phone for texting and calling, this is a good buy.

Very stylish phone always shiny no matter how many times u drop it. It does not break easily.
However, after some time as most slide phones, it starts having problems with the upper keypad which does not function.
While listening to songs or sending/receiving through bluetooth u cannot txt or do anything else.
U cannot change message tone.
Everything is saved on phone memory by default n u cannot change that. Thats very annoying if u are taking pictures and it tells u memory full. U then have to send from phone to memry card.
After a yr now, its the second time i'm sending it for repairs, now a problem with the speakers. When u slide up, speakers and camera doesnt work.
I will advise those who want a j700 to buy it and resell it after 6 months..:P..ull have no worries!.;)

playlist can only support 30 songs .. which can get annoying sometimes
and also my joystick does not function properly during winter .. yeah .. its pretty cold outside

this phone cannot support games and applications which have more than 299kb and that sucks,also does not support themes,is there a code to crack the limit for games

it's a great phone, very strong and battery last very long. i've had it for a year and a half and droped it around 10 times but still works

there is a new version which is not so much popular
its the same design with radio with recording in mp3 format
8gb expandable (but at present im using 4gb)
there are 3 themes but no theme creator as in modern samsung and no image can be setup as background
games are downloadable from pc but it should not exceed than of 299mb it has a bakground music play with auto off
the internet browser is good
the next bad point is that it does not zoom photos tha+t+ stored in memory card and which are not taken by camera
it is good upto 1200 contacts,
320sms memorybut it have an mass storage mode

The J700 does have a background music player option.
Just follow these steps:
1)Go to the music player
2)from the 'options' menu, select 'settings'.
3)scroll down to Background Playing and enable it.
There u go.

Hi All :) I must admit when I first bought this phone in the middle of 2008 I truly thought this phone was going to be all that I do miss my samsung in some ways but now after not having this phone anymore I must admit the phone was not enjoyable with like only had two themes as mentioned and also the cam and video was very, very bad...But will remember the phone in its good and bad lol off to buy my next phone in two weeks yippeee
