Worst phone I have ever had. It doesnt have an anti-scratch screen, so after 1 day my phone already had scratches on it. Then, the speaker (earpiece) works only when it wants to, so selective hearing which is pretty bad. Then, sometimes, (only very little) the other party cant hear me speak. I would never recomend a samsung slide phone (this is my 2nd one- being stupid). After 6 months, battery life lasts you after 1 and max a half days. MY ADVICE: rather buy a nokia, sony ericsson

samsung fone is best, one thing is not good,the flakes is only 1 year use only..all of samsung fone slideup type,may fone is j700 my friend is d880 and u900 soul and the one is i dont know the unit...after 1 year our flakes is broken...then we replace it a china flakes...but the china flakes is not stay longer...only 3 to 4 months only...

Haven't overcharged it...
Work for retailer and we used to have alot of problems with customers purchasing phones that say to charge for 16hours but are already fully charged, when they try turning on phone after charging, it is completely dead.

hey i bought this phone a month ago ..its not all good n creates a lot probs when slider remains open.. even the music support not good..STRICTLY don buy

I have a J706, and love it to death. Amazing little phone. It does take great photos, as long as you don't shake. Even figured out how to convert my DVDs into mp4 movies.

I got the phone on Sunday, 13 September. Today 17 September. Charged phone all through last night. At the end of today battery flat. WHY? Going to take it back.

i observed it to0. i have purchased M620 then i replaced it for J700 and then i observed that the camera of M620 (VGA) is more better than J700 (despte of 1.3megapixel) . Is it because of the c0lor? M620 (256k) J700 (60k)???

People this is a cool phone. Im using this for 1 year without any troubles. camera quality is so good and the menu settings are very user friendly. Its look same like P250, less features than P250 but stil its a great mobile phone. I love it.

My wife has this phone and this phone is really sexy. It has all the basic functions including a high-quality headset to listen to music (although the music player is just a very basic player with upto 4 playlists/30 songs each). It has an OK camera which I think is better than my 2MP Nokia phone camera.
Now, if you're looking for functions such as 3G and all the fancy stuff then you're probably looking at the wrong phone. This phone is about sexiness and no-nonsense usage.

Hi,
I purchased j700 yest. When i compare the 1.3pxl camera quality with my existing samsung m620 VGA camera, i find the VGA output better- brighter and clear (with all equal settings). is something wrong somewhere with j700??
