The only reason people make phones and tablets that are why better than apple will make the icraps is because icraps came out. Also, apple never copies other companyies by using samsung cpu's or coming out with the iphone that looked surprisingly like the lg prada. Everything original is all apple. Well any company with a high res screen, good camera, hd recording, lots of playback support is copying samsung then. lol. Oh wait apple just tried that too now.

Wow. They didn't add add at least an 8mp camera, there isn't a Hummingbird processor(1Ghz supposedly faster then the Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor), and it isn't faster then 1Ghz... In my opinion, this Tablet isn't that great. Froyo(Android 2.2) is the only really good thing about it... they I can tell, and a front facing camera, that's good too. But overall... I don't think you sohuld buy it unless you abosoulutely want it... and if any of this is wrong, correct me, I stand corrected(or whatever). I don't really care... it's just sad how this Tablet is 7.3 inches in height, with Froyo, and no Super AMOLED Display(Google it if you don't know...) and make a physical keyboard? Anyway it sohuld've gotten a faster processor. Also a better display if it, indeed isn't Super AMOLED.
If you don't like my comment, sorry. It's just my opinion... (Yeah, blah blah, keep your opinion to yourself... Idc about that crap, I just felt like speaking my mind, well typing anyway).

wow. will totally look forward in getting this device. i hope it wouldnt be too pricey, having an external microsd makes this device better that ipad, you have a way to export data without hassles! nice one samsung!

it is not true that Samsung had no interest in tablets. I have been using a Samsung 7in umpc for some 4 years now. It is a win xp and I love it. Cant wait to get the tap

WOW, my mum bought an iPad a few weeks ago and i have to say its kinda fun using it.
But after seeing this, I'm definitely favoring this over the iPad! Also because its smaller and has a camera (with flash!) which the iPad doesn't XD
Question though, is this like a cellphone? Like can we actually call someone with it? If it is then wouldn't it be too big for your face LOL

You know what guys, SAMSUNG TAB P1000 will surely be a greater hit than an apple ipAd.. you know why? because the apple ipAd has some feature restrictions such as multitasking is (-), the microsim on an iPAD is only used for internet browsing, there is (-) dialing/calling/text messaging feature. while on a SAMSUNG PAD those restrictions are allowed, or shall i say SAMSUNG p1000 is a merger of a smartphone & a netbook per say..:)) cheers..

Absolutely right:)) i agree with you:)) i like the term you used "HYBRID"..because it is a combination of a smartphone & a netbook:)) SAMSUNG P1000 is the Real Must-Have High-tech Gadget than an apple iPAD..because APPLE devices always have restrictions/limitations of features..on the other hard, SAMSUNG P1000 will give you the freedom of so-called "Multitasking MultiMedia" or vice versa..
Buyer's Guide:
first, compare the specifications, styling, features, power, & prices of the devices if it is all worth the amount you pay for it..it's like buying a car..;))

I will not replace my iPad with this mainly because of lower screen size. I'm a graphic artist and need the iPad's screen to do my stuff, plus I take it to clients and meetings all the time, which makes the it very useful. A lower screen size will just be a toy for me. True Samsung tab has more features like phone, camera etc., but I already got a phone with decent camera and fits in my pocket, why would I want one so huge?

O, specificataions are the best in class. I really will buy it. Samsung have very balanced prices for their products unlike Apple for example, and of course, it has more superior specs than ipad, which in reality just bigger ipod
