This is not a copy, a copy has the same features. This excels and exceeds what the iPad can do.
If it really is like a 'big brother' to the Galaxy S smartphone then it can view flash video when browsing the web which the iPhone can not and I believe (but can not say for certain) neither does the iPad.
Since it uses Android, it will be open source for anyone to create applications.
It has multiple cameras on it which was a BIG, no HUGE, mistake by Apple on the iPad.
It also looks like it will also be able to function as a phone.
And, as evidenced by their other products it will likely cost less than the iPad which Apple in their arrogance feels they can charge an arm and a leg for for the soul reason that its made by Apple not for any other reason.
So next time make an informed opinion and don't just put something down just because you want to 'tow the line' with Apple's propaganda.

Samsung, dont listen to those nay sayers, this tab will certainly beat the pad! More features, plus just think about it, apple purposely leave out features and then add those features to the next product, think about it.... Samsung has it all! :)

android + super amoled + swype + video call + camera + 1.2 ghz processor + 3g (without extra payment)+ 4000 mAh battery + considered as a phone
ipad doesn't have any of this !!

Now a second network provider, where one might have good coverage in some area's, and the other coverage in the other area's - That works.

I think the Galaxy Tab will weigh in at around £350 - £450. They need to under-cut apple's overpriced artwork.

c.man, 26 Aug 2010a rip off apple product (again) if ive ever seen one. boreyes but the iPad is so overpriced, and lets face it - it's always a mistake to be first with a winning Tablet design, because it sets the benchmark for everyone else. The Galaxy Tab uses the same Cortex A8 CPU and PowerVR setup as the iPad, although it's a little faster in the Galaxy Tab. Some of the apps on the iPad were Android apps to start with.
