Anonymous, 26 Aug 2010It doesn't have Super AMOLED screen. It's LCD with LED backlitThen it wouldn't be called a AMOLED display then.

c.man, 26 Aug 2010a rip off apple product (again) if ive ever seen one. boreyes but the iPad is so overpriced, and lets face it - it's always a mistake to be first with a winning Tablet design, because it sets the benchmark for everyone else. The Galaxy Tab uses the same Cortex A8 CPU and PowerVR setup as the iPad, although it's a little faster in the Galaxy Tab. Some of the apps on the iPad were Android apps to start with.

its more like a laptop size like Dell's mini, but the cost would be twice or thrice. I think it would be better to buy a mini laptop then such huge sized mobile phone.

burn0u7, 09 Aug 20102 questions.
1) what device has "Dual sim" ca... moredula sim means that the device can use two sim cards simultaneously. it's not "retarded" it's a great feature in the presense of complicated network pricing.
an example:
data cost a fortune on one network but they have cheap voice and SMS rates. A second network provides reasonable data rates but overcharges on SMS. dual sim slots lowers consumers cost.
I know this is a strange idea to US consumers who use products optimized by there network providers to increase user costs.

1) what device has "Dual sim" capability? It's retarded to ever think that any device would have dual sims in the first place.

saw one of these today. Looked different to the picture, (it had menu home back and search buttons instead of just 3) told it was an early prototype. Looks great, feels great. My opinion its much more user friendly that the dreaded iPad.
You use speakerphone or bluetooth headset. Should set you back between 400 and 500 euros.
Front facing camera for REAL video calls

It would only be a really acceptable product if it's specification allows for the upgrade to Android 3 due a few months later, and if the specification will work with forthcoming 4G networks.
Disappointed that it doesn't have dual sim capability or dual battery, allowing swapping of batteries without switch of during extended operation.

Samsung has a real winner on their hands with this one if they can pull it off. Expected release date is before October but there's no mention of where that release will be. There is so much vapour ware being leaked now adays that it's hard to get excited over any device. With this tablet there's still the question of UMTS bands and the suggestion that it will not have a swappable battery. If they release something I can use even close to the rumoured specs I will buy it for sure.

it may be like a clone or sumthin' from the iPad. But smart people would be able to know which one is more powerful and more convenient. Also, talk about the freedom you're gonna have with this device unlike the counterpart where-in you're always going to be a slave with itunes just to manage your files...
think about it...think hard...
