pros : telephony capabilities out of the box..size is more pocket friendly..battery performance is impresive..loudspeakers are loud..screen is awesome..typing is easy due to comfortable keyboards..basic apps such as email,messaging,tweaking the settings is easy..
cons : camera performance is average,wi-fi having difficulties to connect to web,running android froyo (latest is gingerbread) out of the box,it is difficult to connect the tab to kies on the computer..
before buying the tab,i advice you to survey phone shop and do comparison by yourself,but if you've tight budget,go for this one,worth it..

theres lots of free video player with various capabilities at the market..just try MX video player,it'll play most video format..or you might wanna try real-player,which has neat UI,and also acts as gallery for photos and music player....

well, another question to you guys, what is the best video player for the tab esp for watching movies? I use Vital Player. The default player can't play all format.
Is there any other 'not-free' player that seemed good to u? I might purchase that. thanks.

firstly make sure you charge your tab until the battery meter is full..then you might wana try disabling the auto-syc in :
setting->accouts & syn->auto syn,make sure you untick it..
then make sure you switch off data network mode if you're not using internet connection..you can do this by holding the power button for couple of seconds then release it,pop-up menu will apear then tap the data network mode..then make sure bluetooth,gps and wifi turn off properly by checking the notification bar..
avoid using live wallpaper,it'll consume your battery faster..then set your brightness level to auto..un-install useless apps or the one which you rarely use..
well these are the basics,hope you'll enjoy your tab as much as i do..=)

I have my galaxy tab weeks ago, and i just observe ... moreif you charge first the battery before using you wont encounter such problem..now if you follow the instruction from the manual and the problem arise...there is a problem with the battery..have it check in a nearest samsung service center....

Who know how to create playlist at pc(samsung kies),and when we sync it will set into our tab seem like apple iTunes.

I think I should wait for official declaration o... moreyeap,lets just hope that it'll be available for us..i did flash my tab once,and after that my tab went dead..as easy as it may seems,it is better to avoid it,even the experts sometimes fails and bricked their phones..

there are someone out there who had succesfully flash their tab with honeycomb firmware,but they're flashing expert..you can try it yourself,head to xda-developers website and read the instuction on how to flash your tab..just to remind you though,honeycomb isn't officially support our tab yet,so there are probabilities that it'll bring bugs to your tab,plus possibilities in bricking your tab,be extra careful if youre going to flash your tab..

Is it free? yes u can and its free..just download samsung kies uk and connect ur phone..it will automatically fitch your phone version and shows the latest update version and asks whether u want to upgrade it or not..u chose to upgrade it..it will automatically backup all ur data and will finish the update in 30 mins if ur net connection is good..and will restore ur data to the tablet by it self :D i did it and it works like magic :D the upper slide is much faster now and i love it
