I wan... moreHi there, the best way to update it to search for it on youtube and following the steps accordinly, I did it and its easy if you see what they do, just make sure that you get the right region update for your tab.

Ur Specs says GPS not there.
I checked on Samsung site GPS is there....

it looked real nice until i got it and found out there was no firmware update from froyo 2.2.1 to gingerbread 2.3.3 or higher.
because of that the front camera wont work on almost every camera app u find on android market.including skype and any other video calling programs i tried.
as for customer support from samsung..whats customer support..there is none.
ill think more than twice next time i buy a samsung android phone again

Great Tab
Updated it to 2.3.6 latest and I have had no problems.
Good WIFI Tab wtih a lot of potential.
Battery last for days with moderate play.
Good and cheat to own...

I bought this tablet about 3 weeks back, and i must say it offered great value for the money i paid. The screen is really good, boasts a nice resolution and touch works smoothly. The performance of the tab is quite good and the TI OMAP 3630 processor is a good workhorse; though they could have chossen the PowerVR SGX540 instead of SGX530, but none the less it provides enough 3D horsepower that u can play all the games available for android.
It came loaded with Froyo(2.2.1) but i have flashed it to Gingerbread(2.3.6) which was quite easy to do. Follow this link and u can do it by yourself:

I have bought the 16 GB version, out of which 1.79 GB was available for applications partition; while another 12.73GB partition can be used keep rest of the data as videos, books, etc.
The battery performance is quite good as well, i am a moderate user and with on & off use the battery lasts well enough for 10-12 hours, and will stay good for days on standby.

Just go to Sammobile and get the firmware there.
