They were complaining also why only 766 mb of ram being used. Samsung avoiding system crashes. Android uses a lot of background processes and eat a lots of memory even though you're not using it. The remaining ram is eventually uses for android os to continue its operation. Samsung never cheat on you neither o n me, they just failed to inform us but if you do some more googling you can find the answer. I forgot the site were I obtained this information. I'm proud owner also of gtab 7.7, patiently waiting for ics update, which this gtab will really reach its full performance once updated.

This might be the cause? But why mine is different? I got cheated by samsung ? Can u help me to verify this pls.. I've ben searching for the RAM spec for this p6800 but no luck..

Confused, 05 Apr 2012How to know if this device work on 3g or just wifi? I mean ... moreJust look for model number. 3G and wifi version is galaxy tab P6800 and I think wifi only version is P6810. Check here in gsmarena for more info. If you have android phone, install phone genie from play store it will provide you info for every phones and tablets. Also check the box if P6800 is written then you have the 3G and wifi version. Another hint is 3G version is expensive than wifi version only.

hai guys i bought this tab a few days back.i was really confused between note and this.but the users comments helped me alot to decide and choose this tab.really very much thanks to all and this site.
but know i got aome problems...
1.when i use internet on my tab via sim card and charging while browsing the tab is becoming very very hot.especially at side of sim n ssd slot.also the led screen is feeling lots of heat even i cant hold the tab.its so hot.
does this prob is common or its oly wid me.please help me users.
2.how can i download torrents in my tab itself.
please help me anyone.thanking u 4 ur kind suggesions and reviews.

Got delivered within 2 days and I'm just loving it.... The deal is only for few days or else end up paying more than 33K from local market.

How to know if this device work on 3g or just wifi? I mean is all 7.7 have sim card slot ? Or its just the 3 g version ? Is there is any sign like 3g logo on the box ?

As we know the main issue with the 7.7 is hardly the hardware. 1.4GHz of processing power and 1G ram is just awesome. However Android honeycomb seems to be lagging things a bit with the 7.7. But with Ice Cream Sandwich on the way the overall performance will definitely improve for the 7.7.

Honest review from me as a gadget lover..
Just got my Tablet 7.7 5 days ago... here what i noticed.
-There are some color distortion like burning or magnetic pulled(same like CRT TV)
-Lagging - sliding/appearing the icon
-slow response - to unlock/open an application
-Hanged and always force close or not responsive when using an application.
-If no application are turn on, there are messages asking to force close the application that not open but might running in background.
-Not much ac compatible real applications.. maybe later..
-The Only good about this tab was the Screen size with Super AMOLED which is great and relief in browsing internet or ready an e-book and a stylish appearance.
Performance?? :(
CPU 1.4ghz should not have these kind of issue.
Expected a very good performance but vice versa.
Am a bit disappointed coz am looking for performance and screen.. sad not buying Galaxy Notes instead of this tablet 7.7.... :(
-reason buying this is because the screen size is bigger than Notes but not too big as ipad or Galaxy 10.1.
I hope there is a solution of this...

I want to use the 7.7 Tab mainly for business esp. to read and edit PDF files using a stylus. Is the 7.7 screen large enough or should I rather get the 8.9?
Any ideas?
