okie guys..enough of stupid questions nd answers..everything will be solved in few lines below..(for s5233):
star comes in three models:1. wifi only, 2. 3g only 3. edge only
i use gprs only..
its got 3 mp cam, blue-tooth, default samsung browser, stylus pen which is not inbuilt and costs arnd rs.8500/-.
u can watch youtube videos on the browser without much buffering but overall its slower than operamini.
music player is lacking in good bass like in sony phones but its ok. u dont really need the stylus pen..fingers are good enough... qwerty pops up whenever u try to write sumthin wherever if u keep the phone horizontal enough..convert files only to 320x240 resolution..only tat will work in base firmware..tilting the phone in browser mode tilts page into wide screen!!
some things which really pisses you is
1.the camera quality which is just a 3/10 or less marks..3 mp is just a name on the phone..cam is seriously poor
2.inorder to install .jar 3rd party softwares u need to upgrade firmware..but if nything happens wrong during upgrading phone warranty will not stand!!be careful!
3. message memory is shared and is low..maximum inbox capacity is 250 sms!!
overall value for money phone..good phone for ur first touchscreen xperience!!

Anonymous, 28 Dec 2009does this phone support 3gp and mp4 format files? i can't ... moredear ... its not possible to get the 3 gp and mp4 file in wap ... its a protocaol only using for wireless aceesing .... better you to try in http .. or directx access ok .. bst wishes

Its a hybrid one , which makes use of both touch screen as well as QWERTY keys, na? So, I will suggest you Samsung

its a really good phone and if you want a very good quality video songs on this phone then use the pc suite convertor....which is damn good and fast

Just bought one for my girlfriend, amazing classy quality for only 120 euros now. Can't find any flaw really. To bad for Nokia and its toy phone

I am using this phone since last two months. Very good value for money spend on it. Only problem is phone keeps giving "Error" if kept on for a week.If we reboot, it works fine. Phone voice quality, camera, video, widgets, net, everything very good.
