you can get it at the bridgeway shops.. there are cellphone stores there where they offer samsung adapters..
I just don't know on the "tiangge"..
But surely, at the bridgeway shops and at the theater mall, u can find one.

i broke my earphones last time, but cant find... moreyes u can use 3.5 mm jack for your phone..
u just need to buy an adaptor for your 3.5mm earphones which can be bought on cell shops at the philippines.
I got mine at greenhills shopping center for P150..
and it's really sweet coz i can use the headphones of my ipod..

Secondly, its not the matter of not knowing how to use it. I am a software engineer so compared to a layman I did much more research and than came to a conclusion. I am sorry if I hurted any Samsung Fans. But I just want if anyone want to buy they don't face the problems which I am facing.

Even if you try move your messages from inbox to saved messages, still is counted in 200 incoming messages.
Second, you can export your msgs to PC but in the format only understandable by samsung, you cannot export it in text or excelsheet format. And the interface on the PC for messages is also not user friendly.

This is NOT a smartphone with a flashy OS, its just a fun user friendly mobile phone. I think you should have done more research before buying this phone. Its perfect for making calls, sending texts, checking the internet, playing games, listening to music etc. You've bought the wrong phone, and that doesnt make Nokia better than Samsung.

I am using this phone and have only one word to say Nokia is much much better than this company. When I bought the cell I was happy with its graphics, sound and interface. But the real problem begins when I tried to connect this phone to PC. First only 200 sms can be saved on phone. So when I tried to export the sms from phone to PC god knows which stupid format this company uses. .NEF which is a picture format. And no way to open it on PC. Can export your messages to .txt or excel .xls format. Phonebook search interface on pc is also very poor. When i tried to convert a video and transferred to play it on mobile. It gave me an error of unsupported format or frame rate not supported. And the same video is played very well on a cheap Chinese phone. You cant even install the java application i.e. JAR files through PC. I strongly suggest those who want to connect this phone with PC to there work dont buy this phone at all. Instead go for any nokia or symbian or windows based phone.

Ps battery life is awesome, just lasted 5 days with loads of calls/texts/internet usgae and games, love it!

this is a gud phone bt the internet sucks iv had this phone 4 two months nw bt still no internet settings frm vodacom can u do sum thing abwt it it realy sucks

Hi guys, Your phone rocks, but it stres when comming to get internet access drivers, why cant you ling those drivers to vodacom or other service drivers so that we wont strugle to get them. I rilly need them:Cell 072 011 3199

nokia 5800 is a good phone....but the reason why people like this simple samsung phone coz nokia 5800 has been made too campact and sophisticated not keeping in mind its user friendlyness....it is extremely confusing and the icons being small on its display it always needs a stylus for its operation.... but overall speaking nokia 5800 has got any and everything to offer

Also a good way to make your wallpaper fit the screen. Edit the picture and press transform then change the resolution to screen size save to phone memory then change wallpaper. It fits. Also i have took a photo of a black background and used it for background in menus so the icons stand out on black background.
