Nice looking phone but boring and cant even do the basics well. I returned mine and spent more money and got a Sony Ericsson w995. Ten times better.

Don't be confused! Both are based upon samsung's proprietary Touch Viz interface. So performance-wise, both are equal. Go for regular star, if u do not need 3G. But keep in mind, talking about the "battery performance", regular variant would provide u almost thrice the more, compared to the 3G variant!
So all in all, if u've no plans for 3G, go for regular star JUST BLINDLY!

Talking about an operational difference ; star has resistive touch screen whereas star 3g has capacitive touch screen, which obviously is very sensitive to the touch!
To know the rest, if at all, compare both models on "the gsmarena" itself.

Only thing missing is the stylus for s5233A but actually u dont need it...very touch finger friendly. Camera is good, love the smart unlock and the accelometer is freeaking awesome. the website smobile .tk is good for the games but i just got one more question, why would u update the firmware and what new features would it provide? Useless phone. I have all the right settings on my network and my account but still cannot send or receive pictures via mms. Complete rubbish. Nice looking phone but no good if you can't use it for its features properly.

Hey! i had my phone for now a month and had now problems so far, built qaulity is ok not the best from samsung and the power saver time is to long cant use my applications, is the only problems that i,have the phone, i already download some games and the new opera mini 5 works fantastik fully touchscreen now and have qwerty keyboard, go and try it!
