Anonymous, 24 Aug 2009Hi, I was just wondering which one is better the S5600,S523... more5230 is the best of all. Though 5600 has a flash but it has no document viewer. moreover if you want a 3G enabled then 5600 is the only option from your list.

Hey. Thankz alot. I am going to buy the star. Just one more question wel actualy two, does the S5233 star come with a stylus? And also is it hard to touch type especialy with Mxit when you are messaging alot. I have a lg ks360 nw and got usd to the Qwerty keyboard but wonder how it il b in a touch fone? TX alot!

I am luving this fone.. the only problem is tht im in pak.. n i got my set frm uk.. bt the sims here are not really supporting the set.. i think ill hvto get my sortware updated or i duno wat..
n i donot agre wid above comment.. i lsn to FM music n the battery dies in 5 to 6 hrs only.. ! and if i play games thn the time is further reduced :S
i luvvvvv the fone.. bt im tensed abt the sims nt supporting my set as the set stops recieveing cals after 20 mins max n thn i hvto turn it off nthn on again.. wat shud i do?.. will updating the software solve my problem ???? plz help!! :S

dont expect wifi in this phone, and there are no application for wifi, its a small hardware put inside the phones with wifi, still no space to put wifi on star... bbut i still recommend to use opera mini for fast web browser but it cost...

this is an amzing little mobile everything about it oozes quality. but i feel the bad idea was leave out a flash. i know its a budget handset. but its criminal. it would of better to leave out the camera full stop. i think everything else is just perfect. cant know a baby pixon. but just get it for a cam phone you will be disapointed.

It is a really nice phone, great for people with big fingers, like me. All the icons are big, and yhe QWERTY keybord is much better than the one in LG Cookie.
But unfortunatelly it's signal is really bad. Sometimes it just won't get any signal (while Nokia and SonyEricsson has full signal).
I'm trading mine for a Nokia, just because of it's bad signal. Really sad, 'cause it's a great phone.

Vikas, 25 Aug 2009This is a good phone but its network problem is a major iss... moreI have been using star from last 9days(ofcourse i did research and read comments for more den 15days) but luckily i have not had any problem with the network or the battery..
I hav been using Nokia E61 from last 2years before star..
i reside in a place where network is very very poor(Defence/prohibited area) and for 2 years i had 2 use jabra bluetooth to receieve or dial a call..(keeping d fone on window)..but now i dnt hav 2 use a bluetooth on star i just sit 2-3 feets away(beyond 3feets fone gets disconnected) from my window..but i am not blaming nokia for that(i dropped the fone from the window almost 200times..so may b i screwed the antenna badly)
i am happy with d fone but regret no flash..battery is good(last for 48hours after using 4hours of music,4hours of call and couple of hours for show off..which includes msgs)
I wanted a basic fone with music,camera,internet,qwerty,fm(not dat imp) and ofcourse good memory and looks.
music is good but not with the bundled earphone so suggest u 2 buy a convertor for Rs. 120/-(devinder) and plug in gud pair of earphone.
star is gud touch sensitive fone(atleast as of now) with no problems as yet..
i love the g sensor aka auto rotation..shortkut keys aka widgets and privacy lock..i was very happy to find out the solution for call at the same time checking new inbox msgs..but still havn't found call recording(luks dsnt exist)
soon there will be a leather case for the star(not talking about the supplied 1)..
samsung to me before buying was one of d last option..but star proved me wrong..
Hope it dsnt giv me a prob for atleast 1 year(btw i hav dropped it thrice already) but felt so bad..dat is y waiting eagerly for d customised case(devinder)
i m happy with d fone's performance..i wuld definately recommend dis to all d confused buyers.
