well hello its me after a loooong time. hope u guys r njoying star touch !! gr8. so here's a small feedback after having used the star for 4 months...
1.battery is going great. as good as new. still lasts roughly 4 days (with an hour of calls, 150 sms up n down per day , 2 hours of music with headphones, 1 hour of video playback per day including movies albums). n i don't use the camera.
2.the "3-wallpaper desktop" craze goes off after a few days of use, n now i use only 1 wallpaper. i dont need the other desktops.
3.the multi-tasking feature (although limited to just 6 parallel tasks) they r nicely chosen n i use them a lot. browsing the net while checking my balance with music player running in the background.
4.by this tym i've fuly used all the features in the fone (including the extra ones provided with firmware XEIG2).
n after using the new menu for a few weeks or rather, months in my case, u'll find that the shortcuts provided in the new firmware r absolutely rubbish n useless, although "externally attractive".
5.all the options n submenus r nicely planned n very user friendly, n once u've upgraded the firmware to support java applications (most of which are again useless), it can give a tough competition to Symbian fones.
6.i've been using 8gb micro sd card since the first day of purchase, alongwith creative ep-630 headphones with a 3.5 mm adapter jack, n till now, both r going gr8. superb music. n lag-free storage n file management, even with 90% full memory.
7.the set has sustained several rough uses. with 100 sms per day u can imagine the amount of presses the fone goes through. i recommend using a screen protector. i've had one placed right from the first day n it has'nt come off till now. gud 4 me. i also recommend using the leather-flap extra cover provided with the set. it protects ur screen. although i heard the extra cover no more comes with the fone. dats sad.
8.gr888 set allover. would definitely recommend it. specially the battery part, which is rarely given attention nowadays by phone manufacturing companies.

to all of you who ask stupid ? if you want to listen to music, watch movies etc. buy an i-pod and a tv monitor why waste our time with your complaints, it is just a phone for making calls!!!
