the battery is very bad,only one day.i`m from romania and this thing it happend to a lot of people on this samsung in romania :|

Hi can i please be helped? i have mxit on my star phone but when i try to go to another mobi site it says its forbidden, why is it giving me this and has nothing to do with the site

Did you by any chance get to have your phone's battery checked?
I charged mine up for the first time and it's still full bar even after a day's worth of usage. Don't blame the phone itself, you might just have a faulty battery. Have it checked out before complaining on here.

to all : i just bought a new star a few days ago..
and what was i got...???
amazement & contented..!!
this is a very smart phoe with some various features, even though it's not 3G yet, but i felt it paid the price..
change background : if u set the background from menu, you should crop, or edit it and i swear it'll bugs u up..
you can change it from the widgets on the screen, drang the flowers icon, then choose the background you will, and set it up..
it will make the picture full screen..

hw to set up the pictures frm memory card as wall papers,
tried to set it but the cropping of image and fitting is damn difficult,
is thr any proper way to crop it

Make sure your mobile network supports GPRS and has given your device their WAP settings. Once you have gotten them, set the streaming to your mobile network, then you will be able to view YouTube videos in either portrait or landscape mode.

Just now i compare the star 5233 & 5530XM.
Price difference is 2,800 Rs, so i can wait for 5530.
Kinetic scrolling is not a problem for 5530XM, it can be made just by future frimware updates.
5530XM also has accelerometer, 3.2mpix with led flash, 3D surround sound thru loudspeakers, there is metallic finish, wifi receiver, contacts bar upto 20 in homescreen and three modes of homescreen available, 4gb card included, ovi suite, tons of apps and games available, new transition effects in S60 UI, stylus included, and lot more to told about 5530XM.
So, i can wait.
5233 star is nice but after the release of 5530XM may kill this samsung star.....,.
