Although, this phone is nice and good features.
Biggest issue is games and apps for this phone.
But my thought is just wait for Nokia 5530XM release and performance review.
Lots of games,motion sensor games and apps are available with fast processor.
5530XM(with 4gb) surely beat this star 5233.

The indian firmwares begin with s5233.....so yours is not an indian one.....

need help regarding PC studio a... moreYes...U need to install PC studio to use GPRS in PC/Laptop (part of which, USB driver also gets installed)...
After installation, create a dial-up connection with the help of your ISP (BSNL, etc..)
Connect thru the dia-up connection (U need to close PC studio application in order to connect the web)
Performance is good with Airtel sim...tried with Aircel sim, in which speed is not as good as Airtel...Not sure abt BSNL..

just wanna ask, how many sms can i really store in my star s5233? when i check the memory it shows 150+/500 sms. but after i received some messages, it prompts e that my sms memory is already full. why is that?
can someone please help me in this matter? thanks a lot.

Its a real good phone.
I am unable to get the USB drivers installed properly, I hv installed the same manually but when connect the phone to PC again it ask to install drivers i tried to search manually and automatic, also in CD but the wizard is not picking up any driver and says failed to search. Please help....

When I write SMS it shows that I have more then 2000 signs instead of 160.
Can somebody tell me how to configure it to show 160?
