Though the phone has nice features, it lags one useful thing....cut, copy, paste in text editor...any firmware upgradation solves this...??

My Star fwFWversion is S5233ADDIF1. Please advise if I can update the FW version to the one which is on devinder s website.
Reg the FW veriosn S5230XEID7:
wen i open the same it says..
! C:\Users\MRS\Documents\Downloads\S5230XEID7.rar: Unexpected end of archive..
however wen i dblclick the folder it has a file "apps_compressed.bin ".
Pls advise on the same..

mr, 25 Jul 2009 hi king i just biught star s5233.my mobile firmware i... morethe new firmware fixes a number of bugs in the old firmware and it includes a new main menu styling with 4 pages of icons, with lots of shortcuts.

king, 25 Jul 2009u won't notice any difference between videos at 240*320 and... moreyeah your right... after i used 768kbps vid rate..i just WOW on the video quality...its still running smooth with no lag..a little on gettin the buttons but I LOVE THIS phone....better than cookie

RAJ........the show , 25 Jul 2009this phone vant compitate LG COOKIE.....KP500..... they don... morestar does'nt need a stylus, that's why there's no compartment for stylus. u can work very easily with ur fingers.
yes there is a back button in touchscreen. u did not notice it. its on the upper panel with the sign of an arrow.
and u don't have to suggest anyone to change their phones...

red, 25 Jul 2009how come lg cookie can play 400x240 video while its screen ... moreu won't notice any difference between videos at 240*320 and 240*400 becoz in star videos come fullscreen.
and the video player on star is one of the best in the market.

i have this great fone and enjoying its features.But i hav a problem about its battery it is taking more than 3 hours for charging..can anyone help me its normal or i hav to do something about it.thnx all

I tried with flashing of new firmware S52... morehav u selected master rom & when u click port seacrh see all the boxes are unchecked check them again & select the boot files again bcoz u will see they go mising as well
& the above button chg from the M.../..250 to BRMC2133 or somthing like that keep it at BRMC2133
try it again & if it doesnt work tell wht all u hav done waiting for reply

so u can't ... morehow come lg cookie can play 400x240 video while its screen is 400x240 &
samsung star screen is 400x240 and it doesnt support 400x240 videos....
any good features on the new firmware that will improve video player???

this phone vant compitate LG COOKIE.....KP500..... they dont have a plase to insert a stylus, and there is no back button in touch screen....... any way plz try to change the phone and buy a new LG KP500(cookie). thank u . any body knows ans for my 2 que... means plz reply.
