i just have a problem in p... morevideo res is 240*320 and photo res is 240*400.
so u can't play videos at 240*400 as there is no such aspect ratio.

i have this phone yesterday....
i just have a problem in playing videos...why cant i play 400x240 res.??but 320x240 is working fine...
any suggestion of video converter

i love LG and SAMSUNG - but the truth is - this phone is a copy of the LG COOKIE (KP500) u all have to agree on that cuz if ur true you will have to agree on that . im not saying any bad things about SAMSUNG but thats the truth . also i dont think this will get sold as much as the LG COOKIE .

Bad thing about this phone is that the mms is onlt 100K, what the **** is that? 100K? and one sms with 180 signs is count as 3 smses. what is going on with this stupid limitation? have to change the phone AGAIN! f****

Trick to remove the (E) Edge Icon frm the screen, which started coming after updating ur firmwares. Its quite simple.
Open the keypad and type
*#4777*8665#
Uncheck the option Power on attach
It will fix this issue

I tried with flashing of new firmware S5230XEIG2 and ended with orange and blue bar coming. I don't know what to do further..As king suggested, I hv selected back MSM5230/MSM5230A and Boot files after port search is done. Plz plz help...

But Devinder....who keeps on posting good posts recommended me not to invest any money. As he would be soon realizing those Indian firmwares for S5233A on his website. But If some people contribute i m ready to invest to get all those Indian company firmwares available on one site, its costs 1100 rs/month (15 Euros)to access that site. I m ready to use my credit card to make the payment. But i need to collect 1100 rs first. If I get sm interested people would mail u all my bank account.I request u all interested people to post ur mail ids where i can send all details with my mobile no. More the people less the contribution. But minimum amount transferred to any account is 100 rs, so atleast 11 people should respond. And others can get those files free of cost. Its for benefit of all of us. Bcos I cnt take pain to invest 1100rs all alone.

My little sister is enjoying the newfeatures from this marvelous device, yet she doesn't know how to switch off/ kill the EDGE connection.

I found the inbuilt PDF viewer really annoying.
Is there a better one out there?
