yeah gprs settings and functionali... moreHey King, I thing as we have upgraded to a new firmware which is nt an Indian Version, is causing problems to connect through GPRS. Even it manual settings, still not able to connect...Wat to do now? Plz find sm solution...I m also trying to fix this problm...I m frm Ahmedabad (Gujarat)
Wel in updating the firmware did u select Master ROM option in Multiloader Application?
I thing we have replaced ur Indian firmware to some foreign country firmware...Even the model has been changed to S5230 which used to display as S5233A at the startup...

yeah gprs settings and functionality have gone.
the general process in vodafone is to send 2 meessages.
1.type ZERO and send to 111.
2.type VL and send it to 52586.
but its not working... dunno wats da problem.

Hi all! I've found a good offer for buying this phone. What's ur idea about the overall quality? are you satisfied with buying it or u would avoid buying it now? does it have realling long lasting battery and a good antenna as Nokia and SonyEricsson have?

this is like china phone FRIENDZ I HAVE 5130 and lg 200 if they are promoting here lg product sory for thisnokia is fablous in term of sound quality use ep630 creative then compare very fantastic music out put is there set equaliser first line and last full and middle is three equall increase one point thats it then c the differencfe you will forget andymusic phone trust me im gr8 usic lover i hear fast beats pop and disco all its fantastic phone in all im happy thatmy n73 is big gaand mein dum tha ,,,,,only for cam is gud in thscam is average all features are better the n73 musicis goo in 5130

And another thing:
I don't know way is used MSM (ie. MSM6250/MSM6250A) to control S5230 with MultiLoader, when Samsung GT-S5230 use SoC (system on a chip) chipset BCM21331 (208 MHz ARM9 + 139 MHz DSP) and it should be used BRCM2133, which I used many times with success.

Anyone tried this firmware version S5230XXIE7?
Is there any difference found between S5230XXIE7 and S5230XEIG2? Why are there two different series available in S5230 firmware, XX & XE?
Did u all people found that after updating the phone our phone model shows S5230 which was previously showing as S5233A

Rohin, 15 Jul 2009I too updated to the new firmware S5230XEIG2 successfully. ... moreis ur edge icon problem cured??
suddenly my edge icon is not showing anymore on top of the screen. gr8!!
another thing... the 3-4 seconds delay in ringing during calls has also been fixed. now i can hear the ringtone immediately when the call comes.

1... moreIt's a must to download and install New PC Studio 1.2.0.IF1 (http://uk.samsungmobile.com/supports/softwaremanuals/software.do?sw_type=SW&phone_model=GT-S5230). It's beign reported that the usb driver not working with some version of NPS from CD.
For some gt-s5230, on nr.8, it's working only with battery not removed and with some "juice" in battery, not empty.

Rohin, 16 Jul 2009Yes u r rite screen has shrinked from all side but dat is q... morethere are also some other changes:
1.the hold button now behaves differently. previously 2 consecutive presses on the HOLD key would unlock the screen immediately but now u have to hold key for 2 seconds before screen unlocks.
2.also the play-pause glitch has been rectified in this version.
