Please transfer all your contacts to SIM before flash the latest S5230XEIG2 fimware, almost I tried all the firmwares available for STAR, but I could'nt sync property with PC Studio in this firmware. I cannot transfer my backup contacts through PC Studio in this firmware.

king, 15 Jul 2009hey andyr. does ur new firmware have that improved new menu... morehi there yes if you mean when u go into the menu it does, actually it has about 3 extra pages u can slide along with icons on them This is firmware S5230XXIE7 on my phone and i didnt flash the boot on flashed RC1 RC2 and APPS and filesystem.

after u click on the "port search" and download option, approximately how much time would it take for the firmware upgrade setup to be complete??

ovais, 13 Jul 2009I have found a way to read messages or open other app. duri... moreI got a bit excited about this - but then I se there is only a handful of APPS you could open using the gesture facility why on earth didnt they put all apps that you could open by gesture. I wanted to be able to do your solution but select the voice recording app whilst on a call and the voice recorder isnt in that list u can open up by using gesture!

Hi all! I've found a good offer for buying this phone. What's ur idea about the overall quality? are you satisfied with buying it or u would avoid buying it now? does it have realling long lasting battery and a good antenna as Nokia and SonyEricsson have?

There must be someone in the UK can give me a hands-on answer to this question... with half hour of calls, 100 texts, half hour internet usage each day how long is the battery going to last between charging? Thanks.

Hey.. once u stop the radio/music player it still stays on the desktop. the only way of claring this seems like dragging this into the widget section.... any other alternatives of closin the music plyer once u dont wanna use it?

hey i hve 1 ah these phones an the phone was tampered with an now lock.it's not sim locked, it's security
(passcode)lock.How to unloch this because i don't know the coda which the person used on it?

it says "Samsung Player One, Firmware S5230XXIE7"
is it available in the philippines? but then again i am afraid to void my warranty.. hehe
when will samsung phil release something like that!!!!!??!?!?!?

u need to buy a samsung 3.5 mm jack adapter. connect the external headset to the adapter.

2.Scroll to "TIME AND DATE" (must be the third option).
3.click the box below "TIME". adjust the time by scrolling on the numbers or clicking on the "+" and "-" signs. also set "AM" or "Pm".
4.click on "SET".
5.click on "SAVE" at the bottom of the screen.
6.exit by pressing the back key or call-end key.
for calendar settings:
