Andy, 02 Jul 2009is it only on my fone but I have noticed you cannot take a ... moreno i don't face such thing. u can always take a picture. even if there's no light at all, all u get in the image is a black screen. but the photo is taken.

    Anybody have tried installing jar file greater than 1.5 MB ? ,I am facing trouble while installing/opening them.I am just looking english dictionary for my mobile

        is it only on my fone but I have noticed you cannot take a photo if its too dark or if you have your finger over lens. useful feature if its designed like that because loads of people have their mobile in their pocket and accidently take blank photographs - with this feature it will only take photo when there is light. - try it on yours and see if it does the same thing!

          I am having awful trouble using TkFileExplorer_2.2.exe the blooming thing keeps exiting when I am trying to download things to the phone before its downloaded anyone kno why?
          I am trying to download a jar file into exe/java/locked games and then a folder I have created but its starts to download the jar file and then tkfileexplorer exits!

                vishal, 01 Jul 2009Sorry it was for KING..i'm not sure vishal. Video streaming must be possible since the fone has flash player in it. and they are set according to the network u r using.

                but i have never used it. i generally open a lot of pages and do a lot of chatting in orkut thru the fone but never used it to stream videos. but i believe its possible. the flash ads on various sites cum crystal clear in the fone...
                sorry i was'nt of much help... call up the samsung centre if u can.

                          It would be very kind if anybody tell that whether this fon supports video streaming. I am using reliance gprs. when i opened youtube.com, the site opened but when i tried to play a video it said configure video streaming settings..i dont know what is this...please help me out..thanks a lot in advance..

                              I am facing problem with PAUSE and PLAY the songs in the media player. Once I paused, the same song is not start playing after clicking on the same pause button which suppose to happen normally. Is there any setting i have to look into? Please guide

                                Any question post it here
                                I am assuming you have the game you want to install with you. In this example I downloaded Erix.jar game. And created jad file using JADMaker (Google for JadMaker, to download it). Now I have "Erix.jad" and "Erix.jar" files.

                                Connect the phone to PC and start "Samsung New PC Studio". Open the File browser and go to "External Memory". Create a directory there (Name it anything you want your game name to be).

                                I will be creating a directory called "Erix". Then copy the Erix.jar and Erix.jad files into that folder. Disconnect the phone from PC now.

                                Got to Menu -> Browse -> Enter URL
                                Type -> "http://m.GetJar.com"

                                Browse down and you will see "Quick Download". Click it. Then enter quick download code as 51799 . Download and install it. Exit from browse.

                                Go to Menu -> Applications -> Games and more -> LiteFTP

                                You will be in LiteFTP menu
                                Select Mmc (Memory card) and click OK.

                                You should be able to see the folders in memory card. Select Erix folder (dont enter it) and press "123" button. Then press "1" (This will copy the Erix folder). Select "Back". You should be back in "root" directory.

                                In root directory you will see a folder with "dont enter" symbol named "My PrivateMy PhotoMy Video .......". Select it and press OK to enter it.

                                There will be nothing in the folder. Now paste the Erix folder. So press "3" to paste.
                                Exit the LiteFTP.

                                Open "Keypad" and type "*#6984125*#" (Without quotes)
                                This will automatically open "Admin setting"
                                Select "4 Internals" and enter "*#9072641*#" (without quotes). And confirm.

                                This will take you to "Internals" menu. Select "6 Storage settings".

                                Select "2 Update media database"
                                then select "3 Update Java DB"
                                then select "10 Create Ax Dat File"
                                Exit from all those menus.

                                Now go to Menu -> Applications -> "Games and more" You should be able to see new icon "LiteFTP/files/Erix". Rename it if you want to. Then start the game.

                                Is this flashing and will doing this void my warranty ???

                                      Soham, 01 Jul 2009king my screen cover came of duo u knw any store where i c... moreoops screen cover came off... my one came off on the 4th day of using it. i talk for hours and thus the sweating and vapours did its effect.

                                      anyway u don't need such a big screen protector as there is no point in covering the speaker and the buttons. it thus tend to come off easily. also customised screen protectors are not available with holes for the speaker.

                                      well i am using a screen protector manufactured for nokia fones. it cost me rs.100. the quality is great with sweat proof and all that stuff.
                                      if they have no idea about this, ask for lg arena or samsung pixon protectors. if they don't have this, ask for NOKIA 9000 or 9210i COMMUNICATOR series screen protectors. this one's the largest and must fit the screen (its 4.3 inches i think). ask them to cut it n make sure there r no air bubbles.

                                      i mean... any screen protector will work. its just a piece of plastic with gelatin. show them the phone and ask for a screen protector. dats wat i did... all the best.

                                        samsung star s5233 is vary nice touch phone camera also have vary nice ,phone have vary sexy look also in vary minimum range .
