Hello..
I have recently bought Samsung Star touch. Its working fine, & i have registered online as well. I have installed Samsung PC studio, but it doesnt connect to my Mobile. It says there's no device connected. Can anybody suggest me what should i do ?

king, 27 Jun 2009no this phone does not support instant messaging.Tecnically no but I went into *#6984125*# went to 'feature settings' then number 1 'instant messenger' and then it gives options 'client IM' 'URL Link' and 'None' - None was selected as default.
I havent tried adjusting it and seeing wht happens. As with every time with entering secret codes through keypad BE VERY CAREFUL WITH MESSING ABOUT WITH SETTINGS!! - you may muck up your phone and might not get it working again. And you may also void manufacturers warranty.

HG, 25 Jun 2009I know of one indirect way to install files: there is a sit... more-Download via wap (getjar.com) application LITE FTP to your s5230.
-Open Samsung PC studio.
-Browse to memory card.
-Create new folder for game.
-Copy-paste jad and jar to that folder.
-Close PC studio.
-Disconect usb.
-Open LITE FTP on your phone.
-Browse to memory card and find your game in folder you created earlier.
-Copy that folder.
-Browse to filesystem of your phone.
-Its empty,because files are hidden.
-Paste game here.
-Exit from FTP lite
- *#6984125*#
- *#9072641*#
- Storage settings
- Update media database
- Update Java DB
- Create AX Dat File
- Exit
-Open your GAMES folder.Rename yor folder game as you wish.
- AND PLAY.

Dosto mera ek aur problem he, 1 month me mera phone 7/8 baar automatic switch off ho gaya tha. jab vi me song sunkar net use karta hu tabhi ye problem peda hota he. me kya karu aur koi site me hote waqt kaise apne files dekha jaye ye pls batana dosto.

whats the m... moreyeah sending large files via bluetooth is a problem. wen i transfer more than 20 pics from my frnd's fone to this fone (phone memory), everything is ok, but wen i transfer it to the memory card, the transfer fails sumtymes.
also, wen i move a lot of pics from phone memory to external memory, the pics get corrupted, that is, dark lines appear on the bottom of all the pics.
sending stuff via usb (mass storage mode) is a breeze and tooo fast.
