        Hey can any body guide me through the video conversion required for this phone. I used the converter posted here by someone. I converted into mp4. I even reduced the fps to 15 but it still says format unsupported or high bitrate. Can anybody tell me wat should the bitrate be or if anything alse that in doing wrong. Thnx.

            nikhil, 22 Jun 2009hii I tried installing samsung pc suite from the CD provid... morenikhil - "npc" is not "nokia pc suite" but "new pc suite".. when you insert the cd it will popup a dialog with various install options.. start installation with the first item in the list and go down one by one... everything will work out fine.. and IMPORTANT - Do not connect the phone to your PC before installation.

                Nice feeling with apply single wallpaper covering the all three area.
                Its better then merge and set wallpaper for three images.

                  Yes, you rae right. Actually its feature and UI rich but poor chipset phone. To make the cost in budget or to compete with other. The phone is little bit slow in exprience. But that delay is acceptable.
                  You can feel that delay in normal use too.
                  The delay is between user action and its recognition.
                  Processer took time in resource allocation and execute current assigned task.
                  In samsung in 18-20 K phone multiprocesser is coming as they claimed other brandes also have. On that phone you can do parrelel work. Even with java play you can have audio player in background on those phones (need confirmation before buy).
                  Don't werry its not only with your phone. Its with all phones.

                    Its a standered phone feature. Its actually a basic feature but as not clear to most so user might chance to get confused.
                    Actually on network only one SMS means the 160 char only even a charater more to this means 161 char means 2 SMS. Old phones did not tell user that its now 2 SMS amount will charge from you. But now a days this feature will be seperately come to user friendely manner. To tell user that you will charge more then 1 SMS accordingly the count show to you.
                    Hope you got your answer.
                    Now to show 1 msg or seperate is also depend on reciving phone capablities to merge multiple SMS to one or read them seperately.
                    In any case sender will be charged for those total char/160 * i sms cost.

                          Just been trying out this new pc studio software for managing the phonebook contacts (deleting, modyfying phone numbers etc) it is in my opinion the slowest crappiest, unstable contact manager program i have ever used!

                          Does anyone know of a better contact manager software for this Star/Tocco Lite phone please that I can download?

                            Parithosh, 22 Jun 2009@Devinder It says unsupported file format when clicking ... moreYes Parithosh i used that converter but it works for only some formats(luckily the movie was in avi format so no probs in converting it) otherwise u need to first convert to avi/mp4 and then convert with pc studio to use on phone...

                              I downloaded movies from internet so they are in avi format and Samsung pc studio has a converter which can convert "some" file formats(for others it simply says unable to upload file) luckily avi is supported so it got converted havent tried converting DVD files and .DAT files. Divx(for others also) is not supported by converter so first you will need to convert to avi or mp4 before converting with pc studio to use on phone...

                                I am facing a problem..whenever I get the call the ringtone keeps ringing for 2-3 sec extra even if I have pressed the button to take the call.

                                I have observed similar delay when I unlock the phone. Does anyone else also facing the same problem and know the reason?

                                      under the SENDING OPTIONS, ther are just these options:
                                      Network selection- Circuit Switch or Packet Switch
                                      Reply Path
                                      Get delivery repoty
                                      Keep a Copy
                                      No Unicode, etc...
