I have earched through instructions and in the phones menu but maybe someone can confirm this just in case I havent found it yet. Does the phone have Voice Dialling facility? Thanks.

I see the S5233 model has an answering machine and a facility to record a phone call - both is missing on my S5230 model. Shame :-(

so I wonder how much trouble it would be to try and find a housing for this phone that has the receptable for the stylus and the proper stylus as well (GT-S5233S model). I know with most people this will sound over the top and i know I will void my warranty but i reckon I would go for it. Have to keep my eyes open on ebay for a broken phone or the covers - thats how much I want to have a stylus in with the phone!

I agree with u on ur suggestions to the moan... morenot sure about getting a screen protector - I would hope that if i look after mine and keep it nice then I wont need one but for people who put mobile phone in pocket/purse with keys and money and everything I wouldnt just trust the inbuilt anti-scratch surface on the display. Regarding getting a screen protector will the touch facility be just as responsive? - I would question that.

its very good phone to use it .......its better than nokia 5800 ..........but the bad feature is that we cannot get anysoftware i e applications for samsung star /......if we can get is so from where .....plz suggest it

here in Philippines, the Star coomes with stylus... moreWe'll different specs for different regions.. n ya.. i've got an 8gb Micro SD-HC..n it works fine.. but don really kno d difference.. n good u've got a compartment..

all those hu are complaining abt d scratches on d back cover .....
y dont u put on ur cover which was provided ..??
at least fr 2-3 months ....?
n den .... after 3 months u can take off ur cover n put d priginal back ... even dat has a plastic cover which will last for atleast 4 weeks .....
so ur mobile vl b anti scratch for aleast 3 months .....
u ppl just noe 2 complain ..... at least think abt how u can preven ur fone frm scratches .....!!

devinder, 20 Jun 2009sorry sid it does not comes with stylus compartmentto all,
here in Philippines, the Star coomes with stylus compartment on the upper right-hand side. Model is GT-S5233S, and it has 100MB built-in internal memory. Though, from the features/specs being displayed by sellers, it can only handle 4Gb xternal memory. Could you check devindra if this is true for this model, or can we use higher memories?? Also, can we use micro SD-HC instead of just micro SD??

And.. about d stylus..
I'll make it clear to all u ppl.. if u buy Samsung Star ( GT-S5233a) then u don've a stylus compartment but a seperate dongle ( stylus ) is provided in d packages.. which is as big as a USB drive.. but for european users, if u buy d TOcco Lite ( S5230 ) den u do get a stylus compartment...
