I read review of this phone on Phone Arena site. They said the call quality is bad very scratchy sounding with background noise. Can anyone confirm this is it really that bad whats it like. Cheers.

Nice budget handset, wish it had an AMOLED screen, after seeing the Tocco Ultra Edition working its made me fall in love with those vibrant colours...oh well

Thanks for your concern Devinder but I was aware of that method. What I wanted to know was is there any way to set three different wallpapers in the mobile itself.

Parithosh Rai, 03 Jun 2009Got this phone few days back and it's quite worth the money... moreHere is a method to make wallpapers for this phone:
1. resize any three images to 240x400 pixel size.
2. open any image editor in your computer(i used corel photopaint-11).
3. create a new image with 720x400 pixel size.
4. now import your already resized three 240x400 images.
5. put them side by side joining each other.
6. now save the file using save as "jpeg".
7. transfer the image to your phone.
8. set it as wallpaper.
9. while setting it dont forget to zoom in the size box
10. enjoy now you have three home screens in a single image.

I am using this model for the past one week. Its a very good model and definitely worth for the price.
Slim and light weight. Very cute and handy. (Samsung always rocks for its cute hardware design). Sound quality is fantastic that too when heard in speaker.
Stuffs which are missing / which could have made it better are
There is no shutter for camera (I am always scared that scratch may occur in camera), no flash available, no provision to insert stylus (but we dont need stylus to use it in general only for hand writing recognition we need it) and no 3G. Otherwise it a great great phone and i recommend it to anyone who need a big screen phone with lovely features at low cost :)

Got this phone few days back and it's quite worth the money.
Though I would like to ask a few things.

Can you fast-forward or rewind a music track in the player by sliding on the screen with your finger in the corresponding direction,like the cookie does?

Has anybody used the Google maps in S5233? In the specification its mentioned "No GPS" but i can trace my current position in the map and its accurate. But at certain places when i want to find location its showing some other country or place. And after several refreshes i am able return to correct location. can any advice on that vary?

quick, 02 Jun 2009hi....i just wanted to know how to you set the 3 wallpapers... moreIts not all the three wallpapers set in the single home screen. Only one of the three will be set as wallpaper and u can change to the other two by simply pushing the wallpaper left or right. So u can tggle bwn three wallpapers.
