I did this (reset) to try and remove the pin code, the password it accepted was 12345, hope this helps

When I bought the phone it was great, but in 3 weeks time, the phone started to give problems. First the phone's touch screen started to give problems like crazy. Whenever I try to dial a number, something really bad happens. When I press #1 on the phone, #4 comes on the screen. And it is the same for the other numbers. The scribe that I got with the phone, scratches up the screen whenever I try to use it to touch or write on the phone screen. The phone also does not give you enough space to write a little note or something to remember. When you are using the radio on the phone, it does not give you the option to name the radio station. The problems that come with this phone are so many, that when you try to sell back the phone. No one wants it because of so many problems. I know. Because I have been trying to sell back the phone for 5 months now and no one wants it.

i recently got my phone fixed. they replaced the board.
now, every so often, my phone dooesnt recognise my memory card. like..on music player, the songs would be greyed out and say "File does not exist".
i have to restart the phone every time this happens.
is there anyone that can help me?

the ui is nice even you cant have themes without jailbreak. it's wery slow ithink 150-250mhz processor the media features suck.

Sumsung S5230 is the best smart phone phone ill ever have.I would suggest that Sumsung introduce its own softwares since its not symbian.With Java,im restricted from loading some applications.

samsung should allow third party java applications run on all samsung phones am having diffcults to use teashark and etranzact java application on my samsung s5233

Users in India - the new version is called Star Nxt S5233IVKS as printed on sales package in India. It is without WiFi!! Though the Samsung website in India tells Star Nxt is with Wifi and model No S5233W. How is the New Star Nxt (w/o Wifi) launched in India ?? Any issues particularly the battery ?? I want to get one. Thanks in advance

All 3 phones Samsung S5230 i am talking about had the same problems such as: poor audio in calls(some strange noises when I am on call), drops calls, powers off. Bought this phone 10 months ago.Sent it back in next few days. Got the new one, sent it back next day, got the third one which I have for 10 months, it is repairing third time now.
I would never recommend it to anybody!!!!
