using it from 4 months, really great set for low budget persons who needs touch screen phones.. i mostly play games in it.. if someone wants games for Samsunf Star S5230 then visit 5230games.blogspot.com

Can please somebody tell me how to increase the volume of the ALARM?? On my phone I can barely hear it and of course I need it. I know how to activate with a musing (downloaded songs or whatever) but it has low volume.

I m using dis phn 4m since last 7 months nd didn't found nething wrng . instead of having sum demerits lyk not supprtng themes , various symbian formats etc dere are certain amazing qualities also which makes it diffrnt 4m odrs. sum qualities are - gud surround sound system, user friendly touch nd negligible chnces of being hanged . . . rest can be knwn by personal use . ! ! bt accrdng 2 me it's gud as compared to odrs of it's price range . . . ;)

I just got it today, and i think it's great. Very responsive and easy to learn. Also I like the 3 inches screen which gives me freedom to put some cool gadgets :)

i have it for 6 months for now , works perfectly touch screen is fair videos plays back is amazing even though u can't play that much formats , Java apps and games works great , slows the phone response once u install more , camera is great gets crappy in low light the phone has solid sides mot plastic and it protected the phone many times when it fell , fair price for a great phone highly recommended for those who look for a cheap great touch screen phone

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2010my samsung star takes 10 minutes to read the micro sd after... moreno dude its nt normal...go 2 customer care n get an software update.....if under warranty dey wil do it 4 free....if nt dey will charge u 200 to 250rs...

It's perfect to me: it's fast, small, easy to use, and of course there are good quality videos, photos and applications... music :D... etc.
Highly recomended!

Dont buy this phone at all.Bad touch screen.My phone's touch screen crashed within 5 months of buying.
No games to install.
No themes to install.
Even my phone hangs while on roaming.
Better you buy Sony or Nokia.

Piece of crap , nothing works on the damn thing, memory keeps going away , 4gig and I cant get nothing cause the format not right , , and DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT STUDIO CRAP > Nokia next phone.

bijay, 24 Oct 2010can we lock messages and folders in samsung staryes, offcourse you can lock the messages and any of folder of your phone.just go to your mobile's settings

this mobile phone is great but he cannot read and install many java-softwares and this phone dont have themes to downland.I still use him and i like it but i think to buy a samsung galaxy tab is a very great mobile phone
