*I miss my star! My first touch screen phone.. I'm one of the first people that had this phone during the hype of low priced touch screen phones. Which the samsung star and the lg cookie is neck to neck in sales and which one is better.. (of course the star is better) haha!
**During those times, for me, samsung star is the best! And i really enjoyed the great display and the great response of the touchscreen including the battery life.
I used to have one of this but sold mine to buy an ipod touch!
Now, I'm currently using x6 which is so much better than this..

Had this phone for 8 months now..
I love it..
So damn love it.
♥
So simple and easy to use.
Love the resistive touchscreen.
If you text a lot, it would not be a problem with the Star.
Music and video player is excellent.
Browsing on the internet is simple yet magnificent.
Good battery life.
Display is impressive, colors are so vibrant
(in all Samsung phones I guess)
I just wished it has a flash for taking photos.
Nonetheless, Pretty much a good touchscreen phone considering its affordable price..
I recommend you to buy one now.

ya i too faced the same problem hanging
\restarting of mobile but now i am not afraid of it for those who have this problem pls take it to the nearby samsung care ,they will re-install the software and after that no probs

Can i change themes in my set. What's the difference between S-5230 and S-5233. And also can i use acclelerometer in flash content like in w910 when we the mobile the balls etc. move in the same direction. How to install games and apps in this set. I downloaded many apps but unable to install them.

You need to flash the firmware to solve the problem.
Google it if you don't know how to do it.

Even good machines don't take nice night photos without flash.
If you want to take photos at night buy a good camera.
