i have just bought this phone, but i did not bought the memory card 'coz the store said that it is expandable up to 8G ONLY...(please correct this comment if this is wrong & before i have the 16G memory card) arigato...

I bought this phone in mid Oct 2009 and it is a very good phone. The video clarity is very good and you can view the video horizontally just by moving your phone horizontally. No need to click any button. This applies for photos also. I have not seen any major problems till now. Quality of the photos taken is just a concern as the clarity is not excellent, but OK. If you want good clarity, then you can opt for Star with 3g where flash light is available.

got the phone today...from croma..was rs.8199!! great deal...had a problem later on, when I tried to access the mem card (2gb), it said "unrecognized format" and when I tried to format it, an error popped up! so, anyone knows how do I fix this?
Ashish - thanks for the info on getting java apps on to my star..I don't have gprs activated, so any other method?

I want to buy this phone.Is there any trick to find out real talk time of the phone?I mean how we can assess the used one frome new ones?CAn it play 400*240 (wqvga)videos?can it play videos in full screen mode?

it is very good phone with very soft touch sensation .It will give you the feel of costly phone in reasonable price trust me it is my own experience im telling.

Casper, 20 Jan 2010Hi All, Could someone please post the settings for gmail... morethe very fact that u wanna access gmail means..u have data access..so simply point ur browser to m.gmail.com and give ur login details and thats it..u can access ur mails..i ahve done like this.. however if u want gmail imap details..just google as "imap settings for gmail" and that will be useful for u.

neha, 20 Jan 2010to raul or king!!!!!! guys how can i increase my speaker... morehi for this, u have to click 0 in he onboard screen and then it will enter into write mode from read mode ( u can see the screen refresh) and after that click on the blank area where u can enter text. Then it will take u to the touch screen with total keyboard there enter 31. on the onbaord screen on the debug screen only one character will be accepted in the write mode, so enter 31 by the way i have mentioned

Good phone - good camera - menu can be accessed quick with touchscreen. Speaker phone not to good. I like this phone.
