It can make good pictures even in the dark, just use the dark scene mode and stand very still when the picture is taken. Amazing phone for its price!

I read gsm arena review about this phone but in the first look it is written that star has a very good camera and in the more detalied review it is said that it has a mediocre camera?how is the performance of its camera in good light conditions?Is it comparable to 3.2 meg phones of se?

what a an awesome phone. but the big but. crap cam.this is a phone ideally for the person who dont want to take pictures in the dark. other than that.its well worth it for the touchscreen.

Pleae, does anyone know if this phone can be used as a modem for a laptop? I have installed New PC Suite and successfully connect to my laptop but when I try then I get a msg saying I need a device than can connect to the internet. ???? Please help! Thnx

SPK / SPK ETC / SPK Call / SPK Analogue gain
Change:
4: 5->7
5: 5->7
6: 5->7
Such a pain all the values are back to original when the phone is turned off. With my Pixon i only have to choose SPK dump param before leaving and everything is recorded.

IF YOU WANT TO INCREASE THE VOLUME OF UR SAMSUNG STAR BY 25-30% D,DO THE FOLLOWING SETTING:-
1.open keypad,enter *#6984125*#
2.select INTERNALS,Enter code *#9072641*#
3.select test mode
4.select 5.AUDIO
5.SELECT 3.SPK CONFIG
6.SELECT 4.SPK WAVE/MP3
7.SELECT 5.SPK MP3
8.SELECT 2.ANALOG GAIN
9.ENTER 0,wait for a sec,thn press 7.
10.then enter 1,press 7, thn2....till 6
11.all the 6 entries will have value 7
12.press back key, select 3.MAX 9877 OUTPUT
13.ENTER 0,WAIT FOR A sec,enter 31 and press ok.
14.replace all the 6 entries by value 31.
15.press the call end key and get out of there.
16.enjoy the songs with increased volume.
NOTE: 1. The warranty wont void.
2. The setting will be erased if u switch off ur phone,so again you have to do it whn u switch on.
3.There wont be any problem with the speakers,i am using these settings from 2 months.
4.You can increase ur radio and incoming call volumes too.
5.DONT FORGET TO SAY THANKS.
