I have the 5233. The internet surfing is very good.
Touch screen is responsive. It plays Mpeg. I did not try AVI.

Nokia cells are trailing way behind samsung ones in every aspect. Samsung cells provide great value for money whereas nokia reaps the benefits of having the reputation of being the largest cell fone maker. Largest does not always mean best. For every nokia cell u can come up with a samsung or an lg alternative which packs the same punch but cost smth arn d 10 to 20 percent less.

Hi Mn, you seem to love the star wifi. Just want to ask about its wifi, can you browse smoothly or it takes a long time for websites to load?
Can it play .avi files? if not, what kind of videos can it play? is the touchscreen reponsive?
Have asked these questions but nobody has answered yet!:(

samsung rocks, i love my star wifi. i encourage everyone to buy samsung, it will be worth your money. All you nokia fan, switch to samsung and see the difference.

its a loudspeaker test(coz many guyz prefer to play music on handset itself)
out of 30 nokia phones only 3 phone got excellent rating whereas out of 27 samsung phones 6 got excellent rating....
now check out nokia hi-end phones even x6 or n97 have lousy "ARM 11 434 MHz processor"
whereas samsung introducin its mid range phone (even half of nokia's price) with great "ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX graphics"

whatever the features samsung have but it couldn't be compete with nokia coz nokia is so far ahead in music and battery backup and most importantly recent applications and softwares which u can download free in nokia only!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nokia 5530's thickness is 13mm
whereas star wifi thickness is jus 11.9mm.
certainly star is thinner than 5530.

the sound, it doesn't sound good, and its already a 10 but you can hardly hear it, but i don't mind, i have another music player anyway

but over all, i like it more than 5530. try the games of samsung. nokia is so thin, it doesn't look like a touch screen. samsung looks like an iphone. but if you like so many applications that yu will not need anyway, buy the 5530

i like the touch screen, its more sensitive than nnokia 5530. please beware lang if you previously own a nokia, samsung cannot read video file of nokia

i loaded one movie in the mobile but the format of movie was not supported by mobile(s5233w). Can any one tell me about what are the movie format supported by thi smobile. Also i am not able to use map also.
