during the start-up of the phone (Samsung S5233W), its brand name can be seen loading. does anyone knows how to change it? is it a default or can it be modified? tnx.

i am been reading like 100yrs already in this forum about this phone and still i have not find any solution to my problem, i guess as everyone is concern w/ their wifi connectivity, mine is another thing which is how to know/see the number of the caller who just called awhile ago (not in your contacts) which will just be labeled as Unknown Caller. Can anybody help me? tnx.

the battery is kinda weak (1 day)when the memory card is inserted, and when i remove it, the phone can last for 4 days.
is it the phone problem(all samsung star) or my phone(mine)'s problem?
pls answer.

foreverblue17, 01 Dec 2009how's the camera of this phone?? is it clear? can i play th... morethe camera is not what i expected but it will do. in bright environments, the camera is excellent, although it doesn't have auto-focus but the pictures are coming out right! my fave of the features is the panorama settings! it's really amazing!!! because of the guide, you can make sure the pics of a landscape you are capturing won't have broken lines..
videos are amazing too, so clear. well of course, the downside is that because of the lack of flash, pics and vids under poor lighting is really crap, better make use of a digicam instead. hehee

aspen, 01 Dec 2009hi, is the net browsing fast? thanks.. net browsing using wifi is no hassle, even in youtube although the video quality is not that satisfying. ofcourse, net browsing using GPRS is a tad too slow, but if you are patient enough, it will do. hehehe

yeah, you can still play the music while multi-tasking & even when using wifi, except when using the camera for pics or vids.

Its mere waste of money.
Nokia phones are better.

diwata, 30 Nov 2009hi, the samsung store itself is selling this for less than ... morewhat store and where? also, what were the items included? maybe just the box for the unit with the CD installer, USB cable, and charger? coz i had mine P10,700 added P250 to get the 2Gig memcard...paid cash to get the discount, coz otherwise it was flat P11k and it was just the original package of the phone...

I also experienced the wifi issue - I get the error message Disconnected once I try to connect. Have you tried powercycle? I did and it worked again.

this is a good phone, the touchscreen is really sensitive and not hard to text. only problem i had with this phone is that THE WIFI IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. as in. only used it once. never again. hate it. and there was no feature wgerein you can record conversation while talking on the phone. the 3.2 megapixel camera was so blurred, unike other phones from nokia which was nly 2megapixel was better..
nut i like the phone when it comes to its sensitivity and the speaker was good as well. just that those important reasons why i bought the phone, wasnt there. it didnt meet my expectaion.

Nimbuzz is working properly with this mobile... just transfer the file using your software included in the package and open the file where you transfered like others folder then run and it will go to games. hope that helps.

i bought it last week. there is absolutely no problem with WiFi. youtube works perfectly in it.
