Hi Rizwan,
We're missing your opinions... well this is for you "Samsung has sold 50 million touch phones, Star is in the lead" Here's the breakdown. 10 million of those touch handsets are Samsung S5230 Star, which has only been out since May. This is quite as much as Samsung predicted when the Star reached the 5 million sales mark in August. It is still the fastest selling Samsung handset to date.
The number two spot is held by the Samsung F480 aka Tocco with 9 million units sold. This one got re-released a few times, for example the Rockstar and La Fleur editions, and even has a Hugo Boss edition. It's updated version is called F480i and it packs pretty much the latest Samsung TouchWiz interface.
The Samsung S3650 Corby despite being released only a couple of months ago has already scored 3 million phones sold.
The total comes up to 50 million touch phones sold, 40 million of which were sold this year alone (till the end of November). Compared with the 10 million last year, that's a quadruple increase. The percentage that touch phones make up of all Samsung phones sold also increased four times - from 5% to 20%.

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2009question.. coz i've been reading comments/reviews for this ... morequestion.. coz i've been reading comments/reviews for this phone and i've read many time that the wifi is not working well.. so for those who already has the phone (esp from the philippines), hows the wifi so far? i mean, any trouble w/ it? --
--i talked to a direct technician for the samsung phones at Mall of Asia. and here's what they told me:
first off: open the wifi, do a search. once you've found your connection, just click on either "add" or "connect".
secondly: if there's a password on the connection, just type it in on the "network ...sumthin'"(sorry i forgot), after doing so then..; if there's none, just click on save then press the "back button". having done so, the phone will connect to the wifi connection...
it's either you get a prompt that you're already connected to the wifi or disconnected or the other prompts(such as "no response from AP", or "DNS failed");
third: if you get the prompt for disconnected, all you have to do is restart your unit, and just reconnect to the connection. you should then get a response that your unit is already connected;
finally: go to menu, browser, then browser-settings, then choose the connection you are connected with and then you're done! surf all you can!!
this is a bit tricky but if you follow this simple steps, you'll get along well! so far, after knowing these steps, i never had any problems with the wifi connections anymore!
if the problem for disconnection persists, or no response from AP, this would only mean that your spot or signal from the wifi itself is very poor, or there's just too many people using the connection at that moment...
please let me know if this had solved the wifi connection problems that most of you have, otherwise, please post some other problems you encounter regarding this and i'll try to resolve it by re-posting!

hi, can someone tell me that is there a difference between WLAN and WiFi?
some phones have WLAN, some with only WiFi.
i plan to buy this phone this week~
and i hope to get some feedback from you all...especially those STAR wifi owner~
