bought my star 3 days ago, still cn't figure out how to use the wifi, as the user manual is to general...
can anybody help to answer below ques?
1 how to connect home owned wifi ?
2 how to connect an open wifi in public area which hv wifi ?
I'd tried the belowed user suggestion:
1 cindy ~ (abt the step)but not working
2 annoymus ~ (abt the key leght) still not working
can anybody teach me how to connect 1 step by 1 step

for those having connection problem with wi-fi. try deleting your connection first then add it again. i had the same problem too, but now it works fine. i love this phone

i lose my temper with wifi problem. there 's always the response " authentication failed" when i connect to my own wifi which is set password. i'v been trying all your advises but they don't work at all

I purchased the wi-fi version at 9450 at Kolkata. With 3G coming, I should have purchased the 3G version which costs 1K more

This mobile is the real deal guyz.
just got a couple of days back and everything working fine. for the youtube videos it will not play HD videos but will play all of other videos as far as my experience is concern. i got with 100 MB memory and wifi is also working excellent menus are logical user friendly. Best thing is it helps me in viewing office files and pdf too.

I bought it yesterday and tried using wifi at home. It worked fine.
Here are few things about my setup.
-Mine is not a secured network.
-Initially tried with dynamic ip, it didn't work. It comes up "disconnected"
-I configured IP statically.
-It then connected and working fine.
-Connections can be edited from Menu>>Settings>>Connections
-Use advanced settings to assign static IP.

ive got little problem with this.
some songs i've transferred either by bluetooth or pc studio are gone after some hours. i will copy it again and will be gone again. always like that.
did anyone here experiencing the same? please help me what to do. thanks in advance
