The video quality is decent. I have loaded some videos on handset and it worked well and without any jerks. But if you compare it with larger screen resolution screen it will surely disappoint you.

Everyone here is saying the wave S5250 supports... morether are decent number of apps for this phone. around 100-200, but are all working well.
okay may be few in comparison to android..
but apart from games , one must think as to what kind of apps is he going to use.
just think how many apps one puts in his phone . one can go to as much as 50 . i cant think of going beyond 10.
even in android a lot of apps are junk.

Those of you confused between galxy5, monte, or wave, here goes:
-monte and galaxy5 have 3g , wave 2 does not.
3G is yet not available everywhere . (Talking India specific, 3G is still doubtful) If you are going to use 3G , you must consider buying expensive phone to use facilities in a better way.
-s5250 has touchwiz 3.0 which is not presentin monte touchwiz 2.0
- this phone has wifi b/g/n vs b/g in monte/galaxy5
* all things mentioned above accosrding to gsmarena specsheet.
* remember this bada os and its good (for now atleast). I expect samsung to provide updates on it as this is their own developed OS unlike android.

just one question. is the speaker better than mo... moreCant confirm whether the speaker is better than monte/star. but as both are samsung phones released at the same time, there are good chances that they all have same quality speaker.
This phone certainly looks better than monte. feels more premium quality than monte. One can look for galaxy 5 instead of monte. but both monte/galaxy5 are expensive than this one.
the speaker is on the back side of phone with a slight raise. So if the phone is kept with screen facing up, you can hear sounds properly. You have to be only cautious not to place phone on bed or a cushion or the voice gets suppressed .
The quality of speaker is decent. I know what quyality a speaker should have. Because if we expect very loud speaker, the audio starts tearing.
To lock the phone just press power button. and to unlock we need to sweep the screen like in other samsung phones. It is very convenient.

1. its like i phone model(dragging the arrow in the screen itself)
or it like normal touch mobiles in the side key of the handset.

I have it on my s5250 purchased in mumbai..for Rs.250. Its a premium quality guard. I think the brand of the scratch guard is also named "SCRATCH GUARD"

I have bought this handset and will try to answer your questions:
1. Browser: There is no browser available on Samsung Apps (not even Opera) but you can download Opera 5 Java version from Opera website and load it.
2. Games: I haven't tried and downloaded games on this phone.
3. Interface: I think this is one of the good and simple interface and it doesn't lag on multi-tasking.
4. Alternative: I really do not know much about Samsung Cordy Pro but this handset is working good and really value for money.

I think it has and the same but will try to find the source and post the link. Also earlier I was panning to buy Nokia 5233 / 5230 for my brother but after looking at this handset I have changed my mind and opted for this once. Bcoz my bro's requirement was music and good sound output from speaker and this handset fared well on that. I think this is a better phone than 5230 but only thing is it doesn't have that big resolution like Nokia 5230 and 3G but otherwise best value for money phone.

I still haven't got screen guard but I have asked my Samsung dealer and he assured me the same in 2-3 days. Initially screen guard for this handset is not available.
