hey I'm planning to buy this phone, I like it otherwise. it fulfils all my specifications and its pretty reasonable. its around 10k in India ryt? but i just wanted to know if its possible to save the messages on the memory card? coz 500 msg memory is very less. I'm using a sony now nd I have over 11,000 msgs in my fone. nd since I'm nt into the habit of deleting msgs, 500 msg memory is very very less.

anak_nakal, 17 Jan 2010hi guyzzzzzzzzzz I M usin samsung star 3G,the thing is tha... morehello.. actually 500 sms memory is in all together.. 250 for inbox 200 for outbox and 50 for folders.. so i give u an idea to keep 300 msgs. u can keep 250 in inbox and 50 in my folders so altleast u get increment of 50 msgs..

bdw, i'm considering between star 3g and corby to be my next phone as i'm satisfied with my present SAMSUNG phone. 3 years without changing battery & no major problems etc, i think that's good enough for me. tq.

the text msgs memory in my fone is showing
500 SMS storage capacity.
whereas my fone's showin SMS memory full
even if der is only about 275 msgs...........
anybody plzzz help.............

i'm using SAMSUNG X700 presently which i bought 3 years ago. 500msgs means u should include all the msgs in inbox, draft, outbox, sentbox, email box and also msgs that u save in my folder. other than that u should check ur msg which is one sender but used 2-3 pages. i think SAMSUNG phone counts that as 2-3 msgs, not as 1 msg. correct me if i'm wrong. :)

Hi, I have internet connection. I am using my mobile as 3G modem. I can connect thru the phone using my laptop. Do I need to do any setting in phone. Please let me know. When ever I open browser it says, no network available. Thanks

Hi,
Could someone please guide me on how to connect to internet and to google maps on this phone. When I click on google maps or gmail or browser it simply says no network available. Do I need to do any settings. Please let me know.

today I experience problem with msges my memoery shows only 226 msges but agen & agen phone indicate me to delete msg as msg is in weting am not getting what to do please help me for same

hi all, this is my frist touch screen phone and its really good. i must admit at frist i was a bit scared to get one but someone told me its either you love it or hate it, and guess!!! I LOVE IT.easy to use. the best.
